My i7 2600k had problems running the intro mission at 25fps and rendering images at all. Many of the ai characters were levitating guns in mid air. So Im assuming it was just time to be tossed. This was with a gtx 1060 6gb.

I played Battlefield 4 on a laptop that would average about 13 fps. I really enjoyed it. However I would like to try play it on my ddr3 8gig, 3rd gen i7, Dell motherboard with a 2 gig Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 Ghz graphics card. I also would like to test it on a few of my older desktops that have a quad core and 4gigs of ddr2 memory. It would be interesting to see how they differ in performance

My i7 2700k oc'd to 4.8ghz with a veryyy minimal overvoltage and a 6600xt runs BF5 1440p on ultra settings runs BF5(I know lol) about 80-90 fps with 90% CPU/GPU usage. I guess everyone's system is a bit different.

Is GTX 1660ti good enough for this CPU ?

4 cores and 8 threads struggle on this game. Ryzen 7 1700 meanwhile does pretty well with stable 60fps.

You have Future Frame Rendering turned off in game, that's why your GPU is stuck at 50% utilization. This benchmark isn't accurate.

I have the i2600k not oc and i get the same numbers as you do. I dont know why the gpu stays around 50% though, is the cpu the Bottleneck?

I'm rocking an i5 2500k oc'ed to 4.9ghz and let me tell you it goes well under 30fps with GPU usage at 50% on low. Only redeeming factor is that I'm on and HDD, and I feel like a lot of the stuttering comes from streaming assets. I'll update once I switch to an SSD.
UPDATE: After 3rd patch, even without SSD, performance have been very much improved. Now the framerate is higher and more consistent. There are still drops tho, I'll update again nonetheless once switched to an SSD.

Do you expect that the final release will enable an i7 4790 to give 60 FPS on 1080p with a decent card like RTX 2060 with latest drivers? I would like your expert opinion on that.
