I’m using a RTX 4090 with a budget FreeSync premium 1080p 165hz monitor for now 😂. I’m having to mess with these settings and frame cap to get it smooth until I upgrade to a high end monitor

This is the best video so far, the only thing i dont understand if with nvidia gpu whe need to cap ingame fps or not? It does matter the fps setting in game with nvidia vrr configuration? Someone can explained to me?? Or it does not matter if FPS in game its just 60

One thing that has been failed to be said is that if your fps does not meet your monitors hz then you should turn off vsync. I blindly follow these guides sometimes and still get un-smooth game play without knowing why. the games i had trouble with were cyberpunk 2077 and dragons dogma 2, since fps could not match my monitor(240hz) i turned off vsync and the game was BUTTER smooth(just as long as you are at a playable fps).

So my computer doesn't download the program amd just the chips etc have a AMD processor every time I restart nothing there

If I have AMD freesync on monitor but I'm using an Nvidia GPU will it help at all?

So glad I found your channel. Games are running very smooth now. GTA 5 went from 70% gpu usage with stutters, to 50% gpu usage with no stutters.

When I use reflex, the framerate caps at 225fps.

But in some games that don't have reflex and don't support NULL, should I cap my FPS to 237 or 225?

I have sttutering with all games. Sometimes i drop 5 fps (i have 138fps) and i got sttuter like i drop 30 fps...

can i enable vertical sync and low latency just on then not automatic cap fps?? cuse i dont want or need turn off vertical sync?
