Sonic Academy ANA 2 - Factory Pads With Valhalla Room Reverb

I tested Sonic Academy's ANA 2 VST last year and I liked it quite a lot. A while back I decided to buy it when it was on a big sale, but I haven't gotten around to using it until now. In a previous video, I made a trance pad using ANA 2 + Valhalla Room for reverb. This time I go through a couple of factory pad presets, but I used the Valhalla Room for reverb instead. I also used Valhalla Delay as well.

Good external effects makes a massive (no pun intended) difference. Usually the internal effects tend to only be there just for the sake of being there. Oftentimes they are not very useful, or only useful for certain sounds.
This is why it is good to have high quality external reverb & delay available, so you can get the most out of the synth of your choice.

Another thing to be aware of is that many of the factory pads in ANA 2, do utilize the sampler. While I like the sampler, this can also mean that the sounds can come from completely different synths. I don't know where the samples used in the factory presets come from. But it is a great feature nonetheless!
