what is up with authentication in blazor web app?

But how can we add authentication to the server?
the project template did not add it like old versions!

One of my problems with Blazor server currently is when you leave the app idle for how ever many minutes, then you get that disconnected/cannot connect banner, forcing you to refresh the app again. Do you know how that works/looks when you are only using Blazor Server for a single component on a page, where the page is SSR, but the component is Blazor Server. Does the disconnected/cannot reconnect banner appear for the whole page or just for the single component? Still waiting for a way to allow these things to auto refresh if disconnected etc.

I'm really getting in to Blazor but have an unhealthy obsession with auth/identity. It took me ages but I just managed to deploy an Azure B2C Blazor Wasm. I'm now experimenting with an Entra trial but no signs of meaningful improvement on the B2C front. Database hosted seems the only option for now.

Can you cover hopping from one blazor app to another app with a common login instead of building a solution

You mentioned using the SectionContent/Outlet component for SEO stuff, but there's already the HeadContent/Outlet component in the framework for this since dotNet 7. But i still see the use for sections for things like displaying the name of the current page in your top bar for example, or maybe you have a help link there and you want to switch that out to point to a specific chapter depending on where in your app the user is etc.
