An absolute banger of a classic.

I as an American am completely embarrassed by Charlton Heston's attempt at an English accent. His accent is by far the worst thing about this movie, as even Sir Laurence's black face comes in at only second.

Just saw this film last night and it was spectacular and absolutely worthwhile to learn more history...reminded me of Lawrence of Arabia in certain scenes.

I think the reason this was shot in "Cinerama" is that in 1966 a "historical drama" like this would not normally do very well at the box office. So they went "BIG"..."SPECTACULAR". That sells.

I prefer older movies to new ones. And its not nostalgia either, because this movie was before my time and I didn't see it until recently. Woke and neofeminist agendas are getting in the way of the actual stories in modern movies. Its distracting for me.

The 3 greatest actors of all time: Lawrence Olivier, Marlon Brando, and Al Pacino. Yes, there are other brilliant actors without a shadow of a doubt but these actors are my favorites!!
