What is your go-to budget hotel in Las Vegas? What does your top 5 list look like?
ОтветитьOne of my personal favorites is the Luxor. I like the quirky set-up. With it being pyramid-shaped, the rooms and elevators look completely different than any others in Vegas. I also love the selection of shows they have, particularly comedian Carrot Top (rated the funniest show in Vegas), Fantasy (an adult topless show but tastefully done so couples can enjoy it), the Blue Man Group (not my thing) and the Titanic exhibit is excellent in my view. My biggest "beef" you might say is the food. Very limited choices. And by the way, you talked about their buffet ... don't bother trying it. Very blah. And it kills me to say anything bad about the Luxor because it's very popular, affordable, and unique. I've stayed here twice and really like it.
Ответитьimo, planet hollywood is my top budget hotel, center strip accross bellagio fountains, plus u got that famous miracle miles shops for all those cheap eats, litterly 1 min from hotel room to earl of sandwich!
ОтветитьRESPRT FEES ARE ALMOST DOUBLE THE ROOM RATE😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
ОтветитьThanks for the info. Big help.
ОтветитьI would put Sahara over every hotel listed except Horseshoe. Excalibur and Flamingo are straight dumps now.
Ответитьdoes these room have good air-conditioning?or just fans
ОтветитьHere we go...The best BUDGET hotels are not hells?! 😂 Appreciate your thorough research! TY
ОтветитьI like “the Strat.”
ОтветитьCould you give total price with resort taxes and fees at checkout please?
ОтветитьExcalibur for $27! Luxor for 32! It’s not that now. It’s €1068 for 7 nights. That’s Excalibur. Luxor is a lot more expensive. I’ve been to vegas 6 times and I’ve never got a proper hotel for those prices. I’m going again next month and the cheapest is the Mardi Gras hotel for €512 for 7 nights. That’s euros. Do Americans get special deals or something?!😂
ОтветитьI don't know where / how you can find these deals because I have not been able to find any cheap prices at these places for the rest of October.
ОтветитьAm I checking the wrong places but I don't see any hotel that is $20 per in night
ОтветитьI learned a lot from your reviews but I can't find anything close to the prices you list. Are these club prices at the lowest time in the year? I found about $200 a night for the Flamingo and Golden Horseshoe for example for a room on October 18, 2023 booking a week in advance. Great and intelligent video but maybe something in the future about getting the deals.
ОтветитьWhat are good stays for budgey on weekend it seems like all the prices you mentioned are only weekdays.
ОтветитьWhich app did you book for the hotel??? Thanks
ОтветитьThe Luxor is horrid. I can’t believe it was recommended 😂
ОтветитьSo Circus Circus ain't recommended? 🫠
ОтветитьGreat review! I consider my Vegas hotel a place to sleep, because you are always out having fun. I like saving my money on the hotel, so I have more money for food, shows and gambling. Luxor is my favorite. The pyramid rooms have been renovated, did you stay in a premier pyramid room? They are very nice. The location is a drawback, but the tram does take you to Excalibur. then, you are not too far from MGM Grand and tram access and you can get all over the strip.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьFor a budget, I would stay at
1. Park MGM
2. Mirage
3. Resorts World
4. MGM Grand
5. Mandalay Bay
Thanks, Melissa and Enrique 👍
ОтветитьNice video, ate at The Buffet at Luxor. It's pretty decent for the price, just like Excalibur without the Crepe station
ОтветитьI truly hated Excalibur and Luxor. Too big, and too dark, especially Luxor. Almost nowhere to sit. And very far from the middle of the Strip. Restaurants are expensive and of so-so quality. I would definitely add Tuscany to your list, even if it is not ON the Strip, it is closer to mid Strip than those MGM properties and is SO MUCH nicer.
ОтветитьGreat video. The speakeasy at the Horseshoe is called The Lock not the Key. It’s a cool speakeasy.
ОтветитьBest thing about Excalibur is that with MyVegas free play if you can catch a cheap date its basically free with just resort fees.
Ответитьhorseshoe used to be ballys which used to be the old mgm grand, there was a fire in the 80s that killed quite a bit of people on the higher upper floors 18+
ОтветитьFor me, it's Luxor. Especially if it's summer and/or if I'm renting a car and going off strip. Luxor has a very big pool area that I like. Fantasy is a very good show. MGM casinos have a much better selection of newer slot machines than Caesars does. Mandalay Bay and Excalibur are connected from the inside (nice in the winter) and between the three, you have a ton of options. If you're renting a car, Luxor is really nice because you avoid most of the strip traffic going south and you have easy access to the 15 (well, not right now) and the 215, and it's an easy drive to the southern casinos (Silverton, Green Valley, South Point, M, and soon Durango) which are all very nice. The parking garage isn't monstrous, either.
The only thing I can say that I don't like about Luxor is the elevators in the pyramid. If you know, you know. The tower is nicer if you can get a room at the right price. But don't sleep on Luxor. If you play slots at all, and play with your card, you'll likely get comped rooms on the weekdays most weeks. Lately, MGM Grand has been my go-to, but Luxor is my backup if MGM Grand is too expensive that week, or if I'm mostly gonna be busy elsewhere/off strip. I would only stay at Excalibur if somehow even Luxor was expensive that week (big event weeks).
Pro tip: Getting the resort credit card will enhance your experience, and the MGM Mastercard is easier and more worth to get than the Caesars card. MGM also has more nicer casinos as a whole than Caesars does. I love Caesars Palace, but it's not budget.
Great video! Thank you :D
I love the Excalibur, I stayed there in 2018, and yes, I saw the Thunder from Down Under.
ОтветитьBudget Hotels Aren't These All High End, 😁I Guess I Need To Up My Game 😂
ОтветитьVegas is always changing and unfortunately one thing already has. M.Y. Asia closed permanently. Very unfortunate.
ОтветитьGreat Video! With the resort fees and parking more people will go the old school way of just paying the minimum for a place to sleep and then staying out on the strip.
ОтветитьThe Travelodge didn't make the list? 🤔
ОтветитьThis very good to know, what about resort fees?
ОтветитьAnother great video. I’ve been in the hospital for 12 days so this might be the drugs talking, but can we see less of trash cans? You are the best streamers and now the only ones I watch so I hate to be critical, but I think it’s time.
Ответитьi have not stay at any of these , thanks for the review
ОтветитьThanks, Melissa and Enrique 👍
ОтветитьAre you in Vegas labor day week?
