What did you and youre friend learned ???????? first You CANT stear a boat while drilling a big carp , youre friend first had to stearing the boat and on the wright place helping landing the fish. As a carpfisher fishing between thos lelies is extreme difficuld, and you need all youre attention to drill the carp NOT to be worried of stearing the boat !!! Secondly , never give up like you did . thirth if you fishing a lake you dont know start a month feeding small portions of boilies and build it up a bit every week . And afther minimum 1 month of feeding you could give it a try . I have also a lake not verry far from my home , and feeded every day portions for 6 weeks. I didnt know what to expect because didnt know this lake... And ather 6 weeks of feeding I gived it a try . I had catched 4 carps before I managed to prepare my second line ... Resuld 16 carps in 3 hours time . Just wanna say, prepare minimum 4 weeks If you got the time . just start with little portions and build it up in time . This is the best recept to have good resulds guys !!! All the time you spend on feeding will pay off. NEVER start with to much feeding, because it could rot on the bottom on the place where you wanna fish . 😉

Well I started watching this video as I got cosy in my bivvy at 5pm due to torrential rain and about 5 mins in and one of my alarms starts going off, it resulted in a new pb of 25lb and my first fish on a difficult club water. They knew I'd just got comfortable 😅, now I can continue the video very happy indeed.

Have you ever fished the river blackwater? I live right by it and It holds some very large river carp but I have never been lucky enough to catch them. If you ever fancy a challenge, that's the spot!

I have always wondered about this lake since the 1960's when I started fishing and what it must hold, as I had never heard about anyone being able to fish there. There is a lot of lakes in that area where no fishing is allowed and you do wonder after all these years what monsters lurk.

The best fishing vid I have watched , I was willing you on the whole time . Incredibly well filmed and you deserve all the success you get . Well done !

I wonder what it is that makes one catch nothing for so long on a new venue before actually catching a fish and from then it’s usually smooth sailing. I fished a lake like that many years ago and blanked 11 weekends before finally getting a fish, whilst everyone around me was catching. After the first fish I then started catching fairly regularly. Strange though how that works…

Great vid mate. I've always said if i ever won the lottery id buy a house on that lake. The houses surrounding it are amazing. Id be too tempted to stock it with loads of fish and let nature take over.
