Way too expensive. I buy chips, frozen foods, canned foods, bread, balogna, water, sams cola, and sauces and i can get by on 180 a month.

We have a Costco here in Northern California. I was at the market standing in line. This elder man in front of me was telling the cashier who is his friend that he went to Costco and was looking at the Salmon. The man said that as he looked down in the meat case that every wrapped package of salmon was full of white worms on top of the salmon. He said he could see the worms through the clear wrapped package. The man said he told the butchers about it and they're answer was " well the worms die when you cook the salmon don't they - dont worry about it".
My advice is, if you're looking for salmon be very picky and always check the freshness dates !
I think when it comes to fish, I would have been a karen that day, filmed the package of worms and reported it ugh🤮😷
Edit: Also, on the show Dateline there was an episode where they showed how butchers can take a piece of meat that's past its expiration date and the meat is turing brown, the butchers use meat glue to paste newer cheaper cut ends of meat to the steak, color the meat red using food coloring paste the steak together and shape it into a steak, and give it a new sell by date. Imagine that !
We are being fooled by the grocery store chains. We should all do our homework and question every product we buy.
