Another top game Banned by Steam

Whoa, I snagged that a few days ago. Its awesome. I didn't realize it got banned. I want my money back if I am not getting updates.

Seems like something that would help creators, I'm interested in what people do with it, than what it can do in a vacuum. As we've discussed previously, I tend to shy away from 3d rendered games, as they mostly feel uncanny to me. Treasure of Nadia was a good example of how someone can create an aesthetic that makes it work, so we'll have to see what comes of this.

I think it was removed because of the ease of putting childish-looking characters, but if we think about it that way, even skyrim is possible to do that. Your channel is one of the best in this niche.

sadly, the adult game called The myst was also removed from steam, however, it was really a good game.

People just finding out about the good vr porn games and going to that persons patreon.

the only adult VR game i've ever remotely enjoyed is HypnoLab, and HypnoLab is kinda trash :P

there's one reason it was removed....no under 18! japan just doesn't understand its ILLEGAL to sexualise kids under 18. why is that so hard to comprehend?

LITERALLY saw this game this morning and was going to purchase it after work. Then I check and saw it's now gone :(

As with all things internet and tech, it'd be best (IMO) to make these games, and other such programs, all in an open source format. I dare say that Mozilla only survived by making Firefox open source. As for gaming, look at all the mods there are for games like Command & Conquer (over 20 years old) and The Sims franchise. EA and Maxis doesn't go around smacking users with the ban hammer and they've been all the better for it.

Who knows how Steam decides what goes or stays. However they decide, it's never from a moral standpoint. Usually a bigger developer saying no and Steam listens.

I remember the days when 18+ games were not available on Steam. IMHO problem is that Steam does not have explicit rules governing the release of such content.

I had this wishlisted on steam but had no idea it had been removed if not for your video. Cheers for that. Not a huge fan of VR per se but glad this has a non-VR version for people like me.

I'm not very impressed with these graphics they seem kinda 10 years old. Treasure of Nadia and Summertime Saga look way better imho.

I hope the devs can appeal to the removal... having software like this on Steam could help grow both normal VR and adult VR by getting more users interested on the technology.

I saw this game just last week. It was in my discovery Que actually. because i played games like mount and blade wardband...... I didn't get the game at the time but i'll be sure to give it a try now.

best fantasy simulator ever created. best virtual world sim period. why? freedom and limitless possibilities in your hands. i dont care how good a game is, its limited to what the devs decide to do. this game isnt. and that is something HUGE... for someone like me, this is literally a dream come true. i said in 1989 that i wanted to go into a cartoon world and do exactly what i been doing the last week. steams move today was some shit, but, fuck em. im closeing my steam account. and im about to devote all my time to developing in this platform. you can do anything you can imagine. anything. you got a story to tell? you script the whole shit in VR and then live it. if you got the skills and imagination you can do it from scratch, if not you can build it with the help of other content. its total unbridled freedom. thanks for the vid, definitely subbed and will keep checking your vids out. apparently you the only one who covered something that i care about a lot. cheers...

Yeah like what is wrong with Steam..there are adult games on Steam that actually needs to get banned and they don't ban them..everyone is so pissed off about it for a good and right reason, can we do a petition to get the game back on Steam?

Me addicted and they removed on steam. Wasted my 💰

Apart from the obviously not permitted stuff being posted in the community screenshot tab there's also the pricing suspicion that steam had because the base game is 8$ + 4$ for vamX so it was a total of 11$ and not 39$ so I'm guessing that also took this as price gouging

Yeah it sucks that Steam management has no backbone, but VaM was doing fine before Steam and they'll do fine after. Just look at how many patrons they have now.

Everyone is waiting for the legendary "VaM 2.0" sequel that has been in the works for a couple years now.

Just get it on Patreon, I've had it over 2 years... It's more than just a game, it's a full production suite.

Steam has come along way, The first big entity to allow such things on there platform! They have takin a strong step towards Anti capitalism (the oppression that leaves so much sanitized, and it's people exploitable). For this I have extreme respect for them.
maaaybe we could cut them slack for still being timid about what is allowable.
Nontheless they need to eventually fully commit.
