My husband and I had/has male factor infertility. My husband has several issues. We did a round of IVF after 4 years of trying and it was a failed attempt. We decided to turn to to foster to adopt. 9 months later we had a 2 day old baby boy placed with us. 2 and half years later we adopted him, our miracle child. Good luck, remember that there is always other options and adoption is an amazing option.

I had a very similar situation to you guys. My husband had a car wreck at 18 and landed on his testicles at 120mph when he was launched from the car. That caused him to also have male infertility. We started trying at 29 to have a baby. Five years went by and we decided to get tested at the doctors and found that his count was very very low. We started a foster care application over the next few years and researched the process of adoption. When the paperwork was all done I felt like I had the flu. I didn't turn it in yet because I was so tired which was a good thing because I was pregnant finally after 8 years. My pregnancy was easy and my son was very healthy. I was being impatient thinking things had to be on my timetable and I just had to wait until it was time. I do want another one but we might just adopt since there are so many kids in the foster system.

We have struggled with male factor infertility, I’m sorry y’all are struggling with it as well. Have hope, there are options, we’ve tried all of them. We ended up getting pregnant naturally with our first after my husband started taking clomid (it helps sperm production in men). The semen analysis still said his sperm count was very low and the doctor said the odds of use getting pregnant on our own was like less than a 1% chance and it did happen.

The second time around we struggled, we knew we would have issues again. My husband tried clomid again, his count looked a bit better but still low, then we tried iui. Medicated and non, nothing. 9 tries with that, nothing. So we looked into invocell, tried that and nothing fertilized on its own. We did a round of I’ve and had ELEVEN embryos. Got pregnant the first transfer.

So there are options, and they seem overwhelming and they are hard, but keep the hope. It will happen however it is supposed to.

Also, do not let them put him on testosterone! It is a sperm killer, non fertility urologists don’t know really know this.

Yeah when my 33 year old son in law was diagnosed with cancer a week before their third child was born and died and left my daughter with 3 little kids the youngest 8 months old, then 4 and 6 years old was the day I worked out that there is no God and if there is he's not worth knowing.

I just stumbled upon this video and I feel that God led me to your video. My husband and I are going through a similar situation. WE have been trying for almost two years, unable to conceive and I have been asking myself similar questions. What struck me the most, was you knew in your deepest being, that infertility was part of Gods story for you. I have never heard anyone say this in other infertility journeys I've heard but I too, have felt since I was probably a teen that I would somehow struggle to conceive as well. I didn't want to believe it at the time, but years later when I got married and my husband and I started trying for a baby, I realized that in fact, that feeling had come to fruition in real time. I don't know WHY God chose to have this be apart of yours or my story, but the only thing I can conclude is that God chose us to go this struggle because 1) He deemed us strong enough to go through this battle. It is a very, very hard thing to go through infertility but God knew you had the strength to endure. and 2) He saw us fit to tell our story so that we can help or encourage other girls in the same boat. There IS hope. So that when God finally does bless you guys with a baby, you can turn around to that girl struggling, that with God it IS possible. ❤

I am not saying it ill not always be a struggle. Even cropping up in your mind unbidden. But there is a huge world and billions of different things that you could be doing WHILE STILL HAVING THE JOY OF RAISING CHILDREN! Praise God for the fertility you do have which I know you do but don't forget to live. Don't forget that is one aspect of life. I'm not saying give up, or don't try. But protect your mind and spirit. Don't let it destory you. Go see water flowing backwards, or the lava tubes in Hawaii, or maybe even these caves with their own ecosytems. Not trying to preach

Let me start by saying God bless you both. I’m 36 years old and I was diagnosed with Azoospermia at 30. My wife also has infertility issues. Let me tell you the truth of truths as a man it hurt more than ever for the doctor to tell me I had 0 sperm. I had a very similar start me and my wife waited about 2 years after marriage and noticed nothing happen, as our friends and family around our age were giving birth. I was highly pissed at God and asked why. ( I still counted my blessings) but it was very hard to deal with. After I took a at home test it came back inconclusive, a few months later I decided to go to the doctor and they also had me take 2 sperm analysis that came back as 0. The doctor who I originally had was very cold hearted and just told me I would have to use donor sperm, I don’t want to accept that so I asked for another doctor. They gave me new young fresh out of medical school urologist. He was very persist in finding out what was wrong with me and he told me found a Varicocele in my scrotum, he stated I could try having it Removed he also advise I take a medication called Clomid, however he said he wasn’t sure if either would actually work has typically Varicoeles do not stop sperm production. I was happy with his efforts, however I decided to look into different options I and found a world renowned doctor in Beverly Hills, it was $600 just for the consultation. That doctor was very confident and bit on the cocky side. He did a procedure on me called mapping ($12000) essentially mapping is a procedure to find where the most sperm would be in in my testicles. He also said that the second doctor I saw at my health provider was wrong and I had no Varicooeles in my scrotum. He said IVF will probably be the way we conceive after they retrieve my sperm. Weeks after the procedure I got a call from the “world renowned doctor” he advised me he was unable find any sperm anywhere, he stated we would have to do donor sperm, as I have nothing, he then said he didn’t want to give me false hope but I could try clomid (the same medication the second doctor told me take) and that I have the germ cells that can produce sperm they are just not producing anything. I am 6’2 230 pound ex athlete and consider myself a strong man. But I cried like baby for 2 days straight. We let time go by and we decided to go back to my previous health provider, the one who first suggested clomid and diagnosed me with the Varicooelse, he had me do a ultrasound on my testicles where he confirmed I had a pretty significant Varicooelse of my left side. This brought hope back and we decided to do the surgery. However at this point 3 years as went by and we been through so much we didn’t make it a huge priority in our lives, as we decided to travel the world and try to live stress free. I later did the surgery and the doctor advised it was successful and advised I should come back after 3 months to see if I am producing. I made a personal decision to not check and to just let time go by and see if we naturally can conceive ( I honestly didn’t want to hear bad news again). Another year went by and no pregnancy. However like I mentioned my wife had fertility issues herself, so I built up the confidence to just order another at home sperm test, it came back NORMAL! We jumped for joy screening running around the house. So from that point I took 3 more test to make sure and all came back normal. My wife is currently recovering from her fertility surgery and we will be moving forward with Intrauterine insemination (IUI). If that doesn’t work we will have to try IVF. I have so much more to say about this journey but I wanted to tell you guys and anyone else who sees this, never give up. Not all doctors know everything and stay prayed up! God bless

My husband was also diagnosed with azoospermia by a fertility doctor over the phone… back in 2021… this doctor did not tell us anything past that. We were left brokenhearted…. A few weeks later we went to another doctor who told us it could be obstructive meaning the sperm was trapped just like with vasectomy… (we had no idea, we were clueless) & so we did a micro tesse & found out he had lots of good semen. We were so happy!
So we went ahead with ivf…
High hopes and all…
2 rounds and 4 transfers later we are still empty handed.
We have one more embryo which we will transfer next month…
we also just found out that my husbands insurance will cover 3 rounds for us if this last one doesn’t work… which gives us soo much more hope because it’s all so expensive!

Praying for all of us going through this.
Especially azoospermia! I beleive doctors need to learn how to deliver these news in a better way.

Azoospermia can be thought of as a vasectomy… no sperm doesn’t necessarily mean completely infertile they just have to aspirate it from the testicles… my question is why isn’t there a surgery or a stent to help us out yet. Hopefully that is an option in the future because I don’t wish this struggle on anyone.
