ОтветитьThe most emotional and epic piece of music on the universe.
Ответить"Happy Happy Happyyyyyyyy"
ОтветитьShit song
ОтветитьIs this what classical music has devolved into? Horrible music for people whose brains can't digest anything complex.
ОтветитьI own this album.
ОтветитьVery beautiful, I like facades the most with how catchy it is
ОтветитьI knew his son in 1978, we got on knowing the atmosphere of heaven surrounding demons created by the innocent having understanding and guts to be in man ,or boys/men of f4 at Timbertop I was-did not know of Phillip his dad until 40 years later. Sid Barrett Territory,
Ответитьlike a hot bath with soap galore
ОтветитьSensacional!!
ОтветитьDidn't realize Interstellar's music was plagiarized!

To jest po prostu piękna, zjawiskowa muzyka!
Stressful, relaxing, pleased as you hear time passing.
ОтветитьI was introduced to this album in 1984 by a friend who had a massive and eclectic record collection. At the time I had never heard anything like this and it was the beginning of a lifelong near-on obsession with Philip Glass. This afternoon (02.07.23) I went to a concert where an Italian pianist played 12 or so of Glass's piano etudes: it was wonderful. Philip Glass is certainly one of the musical geniuses of the 20th and 21st centuries,
Ответить🙆🏽♂️💐💐💐
ОтветитьWhen I was in drama school, Robert Wison, an avante garde stage director, came to speak to my directing class about "carving space" a term that he used to describe his theatrical method of using form, color, space, music, movement, mass and other elements to communicate imagistic meaning without using spoken words. It was a bit above my head at the time, but I'll remember it as the first time I heard Phillip Glass. Wilson was a frequent collaborter with Glass, and at that time they were working on a immense project called, "A Tree is best Measured When it is Down." David Byrne also contributed to it. I was overwhelmed by Glass' music, and begun buying albums wherever I could find them. Over the years I've come to employ a lot of Wilson's ideas and a lot of Glass' music in productions, especially when working on Greek tragedy and other ritualistic plays. I dare say, this music changed my outlook and my life.
ОтветитьSo beautiful.
Ответить🔥
ОтветитьThat's some impressive talented music. I first became aware of him from the old Commodore 64 days when Rob Hubbard wrote a piece of music for the game "Delta" inspired by Glass'. This is excellent
ОтветитьI first heard this when watching a 1980s movie with Richard Gere called Breathless. Its nothing special as a movie, but I became hypnotised by the use of Philip Glass music in a scene. Just mesmerising. Surely, this is a landmark in modern music
ОтветитьTo me, a Masterpiece.
ОтветитьHis music has been my companion after losing my daughter and in my moments of joy and pain.
ОтветитьSome great stuff on here but II Floe is enough to induce seizures.
ОтветитьI recently heard an orchestral version of Baba O'Riley. It was similar to this album. Is this where Glass received inspiration from?
ОтветитьWho's here because they heard of Phillip Glass on the Xmas episode of SouthPark
ОтветитьThis sounds like returning home
ОтветитьInterstellaire
ОтветитьJeff Lynn and Glass combined with Rothko.
ОтветитьSouth Park introduced me to Glass lol
ОтветитьOsmose
Ответитьformidable!!!+++
ОтветитьMy gayest friend loves this record
Ответить真香
ОтветитьExtraordinary thinker meets the piano and history is made.
ОтветитьSo sweet i really enjoy this soft jazz
ОтветитьPhilip’s such a minimalist that, as a baby, he decided to take one L out of his first name.
ОтветитьPure BEAUTY ❤
ОтветитьI also like the way it makes the adverts that interupt it seem deranged and stupid. As if they are base and disconnected from a high place.
ОтветитьIs it me? or this thing sounds like freaking weird Interstellar Hanz Zimmer composition for some reason!
Ответитьyour a friendly ai , pet pet
ОтветитьA more appropriate title for this composition would have been 'Assworks' - because it's a pile of crap.
ОтветитьI really can't put into words how captivating it is to hear this at 8 years old.
