Does PS4/PS5 servers not have mods?

Mine says that I can access the name, and admin password through the Xbox app. But I don't see anything. It's very frustrating.

Thanks for the video. I wonder if you could help with an issue I have. We've got a private G-Portal server going, but our zombies don't decay and last forever. Is there a way to make the zombies on a private server behave/decay the same as they do on an official server? With the Zombies lasting forever they are kinda OP.

When you get one of these, can anyone join, or do they have to ask you to get in? Meaning, would I have strangers on my server?

G-Portal is ok but other sites offer performance servers and more options. I had a lot of performance issues running Valhiem. It was laggy AF for me and all my friends which was 4 people. Restarts did nothing. This game has to be more taxing that Valhiem.

Avoid G-Portal, their service sucks and the ping they show on the website is fake. The actual ping you get is worse, even if you are geographically right next to the supposed server location.

Me and my friends are all on stable and consistent fiber connections and yet we still have high ping. This has happened in Project Zomboid, Minecraft, and now Conan Exiles.

Never going back again.

G Portal on Xbox is absolutely garbage. The app is just a front end, to make any changes it shunts you to a web page that may or may not let you restart your server. Half the time the server takes 30 minutes + to restart because it starts/stops about a dozen times before becoming stable. I honestly wish I could use a different hosting provider or host my own like I can on Ark (Ark is an Xbox play anywhere, Conan is not even though it's available on pc gamepass). I don't mind paying for a server rental, I just wish I could use something other than G Portal

I would love to know how each settings works. Some don't seem to do anything.

Hi Firespark, great video as always. I joined G Portal to host my first server with V Rising when it was originally released about three months ago. One problem I had was when it was up for renewel, I wanted to change my subscription to a month to month option not the three months at a time option I originally chose. I couldn’t find any option to do that and just got stuck paying for another three months that I didn’t want. I tried to contact customer support via the phone but after waiting about 15 minutes per call it went to voicemail and nobody returned my call. I tried reaching them 3 times, without any luck. One question I really need help with is how to download my game saves so in the future when Stunlock studios has new content for V Rising I can upload my game saves to a new G Portal server. I now, as of the 3.0 update, also rent a Conan Exiles server from G Portal so I can play with friends and build our bases wherever we want and have all the mods and settings the way we like them.

I only use Gportal for server purposes alone, but over-all would not recommend. Can't even use Pippi so I can customize the game the way I want.

Firespark, what's your thoughts on creating a video going over what foods level up the different thrall stats now? STR, AGI, VIT, GRT.
The food to stat thing for them has changed quite a bit, and now the icons in thier inventory are no longer correct.
This might reallly benefit players hoping to guide thier thrall stats along during leveling!

Gportal sucks dude

G-Portal is trash. It's a bad hosting service. They don't give you what you pay for. Even with max upgrades for a server it runs horribly with a lot of people on it. Don't waste your time.

Anyone know how to disable MOTD? I tried making the field empty, and it started showing some G-Portal shit as the MOTD. I think the MOTD is annoying.

I’ll be honest if you could make a video explaining settings for Servers that would be amazing.

A lot of the settings language isn’t very intuitive and requires a bit of research when trying to achieve what you’re wanting.

I've got a G-Portal Conan Exiles server. The damn thing is a house of cards when mods are involved. Not always due to the server though. Often it's because a mod has been updated and Steam doesn't auto update it on your local. So you've got to search through them all and find which has a different version. Then unsubscribe to the mod and subscribe again forcing it to download the correct version. Overall having a server can get annoying with people always contacting you saying they can't connect and it's up to you to figure out why.

Now good luck figuring out that some options like PlayerXPCraftScale goes down the higher the number while PlayerXPKillScale goes up the higher the number.

Just got into Conan with 3.0 and was able to set up a server for the family very easily. Great service so far! Now to find what mods are recommended! Vid in that for 3.0 would be great 👍
