It's the luck of the draw. I did Arx Corinium for the first time last weekend, and got a Inferno Staff of the Medusa in the first run through, was with two other players, who also have the Inferno Staff of the Medusa but both had run Arx Corinium about a number of times as they were farming the entire Medusa set.

It'd be interesting to have an MMO with a MTTH system rather than just straight RNG

I feel like the probability for certain items isn't straight across the board. I've gotten so much Lamia crap from Arx but never the inferno. It's bullshit.
