To be honest this Is a sh*t respons.. Yes the other guy sounds like a dipsh*t but it doesn't change the fact these things are not rated, when their are pants etc that are rated.
It's a reason these would probably be illegal to sell in Europe as motorcycle gear.

I was unaware of this drama, but I appreciate you putting up the 2 bros' discount codes, and not your own 😁👍 I don't own any expensive big name motorcycle gear. I check the specs before deciding what to buy, and all my gear is CE approved. I'm sure there's more comfortable and more practical gear in the more expensive segment, but I don't think it's worth paying 6 times more for a few benefits that don't affect my safety. While I agree that some protection is better than no protection, I've pretty much been an ATTGATT rider since day one. I never understood the "gear isn't cool" crowd. Probably firstly because I actually think riding gear actually does look a lot cooler than shorts and flip-flops...

It’s pretty simple, can you imagine Arai making any product that wasn’t tested and didn’t make certification standards. They even refuse to make any other products other than helmets because of the risk that they may get distracted from making the safest helmets possible. My jeans are Hood AAA - tested proven product- they cost a lot of money because they are really high quality safety gear. Imagine sliding down the road at 💯 on substandard gear, after half a second you would be questioning the savings.

I heard through the rumor mill, Spite was funneling money from Manscaped, which is why they don't sponsor Yammie anymore.
When Yam found out he gave him an option. Get fired on camera or he'll press charges.

Hi Burch. I'll keep it short, NBT isn't as good as their advertising and that might affect you, I understand that. NBT shouldn't have copied+pasted other designs, they shouldn't have advertised it as protective gear equivalent to true riding armor. Now, you can see that NBTs stuff isn't as good but they wouldn't admit that on their ads. I understand this was their way to grow to become better, but I believe this was still dishonest and scammy, not the worst out there, but still not justifiable.

The whole point of armor is that it must protect to an acceptable degree and it must be dependable, and NBT as of now is not that.

I like your videos, I think your cool, but I don't like your sponsor and I think that unless NBT cleans up, you should look for a sponsor that is better.

The real question is whether any of the gear Yammie reps now is boulder rated or yellow Porsche rated.

The only thing YN cares about, is YN. Really good example of success going wrong.

My grandfather used to say “the best knife is the knife you have in your pocket” basically the idea that he liked smaller folding knives because the big ones were bulky and he would often leave it at home instead of carrying it. Same idea with gear. If it isn’t comfortable or you think you look like a dork you’re less likely to wear it and it can’t really protect you from home.

Made the mistake of buying NBT pants. In less than one riding season in North Dakota I wore holes in the seat of the pants just wearing them. I now wear trilobite parado (not exactly cheap but very comfortable) or ironworks cargo riding pants (very comfortable and cost less than NBT).

NBT has a big market for those of us who like to be comfortable. If you have to buy expensive uncomfortable gear just give up biking instead. Who wants to be uncomfortable.

People always blame Chinese product for bad quality. This only makes me laugh. Chinese product does not equal to bad quality, cheap product most likely equals bad quality. If you buy something at 1/10 of price of the authentic product, how can you expect it to be same quality as the authentic product? Chinese factories made a lot of products in last 30 years. Some of them are best quality for the price! At the end of the day, you got what you paid for.

I’ve never used the gear you’re promoting. I almost died 2 years ago in a horrific crash. My Arai kept my noodle in tact and my Alpinestars jacket kept my rash to zero. I think once you go down and find that the gear you had on worked, you keep with that gear. I’m fortunate I can afford these premium brands but in many cases more budget friendly brands will work just as well.

Life of Burch, for the CE rating on the knees and why he said hes not sure if they are or not the 2 boxes that are empty should have markings without them they are likely just a copy and paste and not official CE. However I would also argue as long as the stuff is made well CE rating is for Europe and costs extra money to get which ends up costing consumers more money so take with it what you will. That Said I love how your take on this is to tell us to form our own opinion. That said I do think the plucks at him could of been left out as well. Its tough to stay genuine and independent in the arena that you're both in, social media. Far too many channels have gone this direction. I remember watching this one channel, a knife couple that used to buy Walmart knives and Kershaws, couple of years later they're dropping $3k at Blade Show on 3 or 4 knives...as a normal person they totally lost me.

Just try to be yourself man and not get too wrapped up in any of it. Like what you like and wear what you pay for...if anyone has a problem with it that's their problem. But unfortunately, your "influencer" message to NBT kind of sounded a little desperate, like a charity case. If you really want to be taken seriously it'll cost you some money, but the integrity is worth it. Thats like your newer videos where apparently you're getting free Yoshi stuff, like $500 exhausts... I still appreciate you showing it and allowing me to determine if it's worth it, but how can you truly form an opinion if it's worth it or not if it was free?

Your favorite quicksilver t shirt is just a Hanes beefy-t with a new tag so I think the majority of things are the same just relabeled. And charter enterprises doesn’t certify things they don’t make ie the padding may be CE but the pants are just pants let’s just say your summer mesh jacket will disintegrate in a slide but may have CE rated padding. Charter Enterprises makes lots of things and in many countries they basically make plasticized molded products like skateboard helmets and so on they are an iso9001 company that just makes shit out of plastic mouldings or castings Oakley shades whatever

Just ran into your video and want to giv ejust my experience. Yammie to me hit the nail on the head. I ordered from NBT as my first pair of moto pants last year. I was mailed the exact Winx package down to the pads with the Winx tag ripped of and no sign of NBT anywhere on the pants except for the bag they came in. Safe to say I will never order from NBT and will stick to Bull-it, Rev-it, Alpinestars, etc.. All of which are also at least AA ce rated and cost me about $90 from cyclegear

I just found yammie cause he reviewed a bike im looking at so i followed the channel when it was him and his bf. I just thought that the cohost was a old school chopper guy which made the channel diverse. I didnt even know he got fired or that it was his bf. The fact he made a video of it is atrocious. Basically recording someone going through hard times and trying to make some money off it. That, to me, is all kinds of f$ckery. This is also why i dont get into business with friends and family even tho i love them. It's impossible for most. Money changes the whole dynamic of the relationships, and i dont ever want something like money to get in the middle of that. So making a video of him firing his bf, not just his cohost, is very cold and after knowing this makes me watching him further very difficult.

I'm baffled, what gear have you tried, looks to me like you poodle around on quiet roads. You need to try proper gear that fits you before you start saying it's all uncomfortable you clearly haven't tried anything. I've done 9 countries and 2600 miles in 2 weeks wearing full, quality gear. It kept me comfortable, safe and dry. You're poorly fitting leather jacket seems to had a big influence on you. There are dozens of quality companies making gear that fits, is comfortable and actually helps to save you if the 💩 hits the fan. I won't be buying any NBT stuff, just makes no sense.
