Great channel! Thank you for your dedication. There is/are very VERY little "hand guidance" documentation for plugin creation. Your channel helps a lot! Sometimes the simplest tasks do not have the simplest solutions. I'm working on creating a plugin for a very simple function we all manually do without thinking about it, yet there's no plug in for it! I've searched everything online and there's nothing for it. I am in the middle of solving the mystery of it. It will be a EUREKA moment when I finally figure it out. It's frustrating. Still the best way to learn.

Wow, man! I had to rewatch this video about 6 times, but now I pretty much understand everything that you did! Thanks so much for taking the time to learn how to decipher the AE Skeleton Plugin and then sharing that knowledge with us! There is SO little information available on the internet when it comes to AE Plugin development. Building AE Plugins has been a dream of mine for years, but learning C++ has held me back for so long... BTW I finally decided to give AE Plugin development a chance, because I followed some of your AE scripting tutorials and it was a huge confidence boost to my coding skills! You rock! Keep up these kinds of tuts please!!

I'm hitting a wall at the very beginning, just after I rename all of the stuff and relink things, I successfully build the plug-in but after effects tells me the plugin failed to load. Do you have any idea what could be the reason?

Is exposure the part of the library, as if exposure directly gives value it must be defined before in the library. I was looking you were creating exposure variable using library????? But other part was good, i enjoyed. Hope you answer this!!

kind of a nitpicky thing, but Is there a way to rename my vcxproj files? just thought it might be nice to see the names of my projects in the quick load screen of VS instead of a long list of projects named Skeleton. i tried to just rename it in explorer, and it opened fine in VS, but then i had an error when debugging, saying that it could no longer find my plugin. not sure why, but only happens when i rename the project files

I want to make a choice whether to master the stack of Adobe products: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, or choose different combinations of products like Sony Vegas, PowerDirector, PhotoDirector, etc.? I have experience with older versions of Photoshop and Sony Vegas Pro, understanding layers and keyframes. And if I make a choice in favor of Adobe, what is the situation here in terms of working with neural networks?
