Thanks, this was very helpful! Just the right amount adds the human touch to any videoproduction.
ОтветитьKp, Ki, and Kd are the proportional, integral, and derivative gains for the PID control used. You can look up any of the many PID explanation videos if you want a more indepth understanding, but I'll give a quick overview.
Kp is based on the distance error between the frame and your face. The farther off-center your face is, the more it wants to move.
Increasing this is like having a stiffer and stiffer spring forcing the frame onto your face. This will speed up the tracking, but can cause it to overshoot your face.
Td is a factor used to calculated Kd where Kd is Td * Kp. So this scales the Kd up as you increase Kp. But what is Kd? Kd is based on how fast the frame is moving towards your face. The faster the frame is moving, the more it will work to slow it down and damp the movement.
Increasing Td will increase this affect.
Ki is based on the error over time. As the camera spends more and more time pointed away from your face, you can imagine a total error score building up and building faster the farther off it is. The Ki effect operates on that score. This is the least intuitive of the three.
Increasing this is like magic. It may take some playing around to get a feel for it. You'll find it helps push through the last stage of tracking where it's 80% of the way to your face, but it's only very slowly closing the remaining distance and just kinda slowly sliding towards you forever. Raising this too much can cause instability.
When I click add there isn’t a “face tracking” option tho🙄🤦🏻♀️
ОтветитьVery very nice and cool tutorial!
ОтветитьNot working for me. For some reason the plugin fails to load. Did exactly what the installer said to do. I wonder if the OBS version is incompatible these days.
ОтветитьClap clap clap! GG
ОтветитьI had a stroke. Since then, my right eye tends to close itself. I have to keep it closed a lot. This looks silly in Zoom or something else. Is there anything I can do with my limited NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030? I saw Nvidia Broadcast can do it, but my GPU isnt RTX ready.
ОтветитьThanks for the video. After resizing and cropping my video capture device window, the face tracker seems to try to center my face on the pre-cropped window. Is there an order of operations I'm not doing correctly/out of order? Also, I used a Group to then add the camera and apply filters at the Group instead of at the Mirrored Source level...is that an inefficient way of doing it?
ОтветитьThank you a lot for sharing, it helps me a lot on set up the face tracking,
ОтветитьTHIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
ОтветитьThank you very much! It was very helpful!
Ответитьthnx
ОтветитьDidn't know Source Mirror existed! I was just using Groups with one thing in it, then applying filter to the Group.
ОтветитьHello, thanks for the video, I am having a problem using the plugin on Mac, for some reason After I download the plugin, OBS does not recognise it,
does anyone have this problem? do you have an idea how can I fix this?
Thanks a lot! I've learned a few great tricks on how to improve my stream from you! I'm going to play with this tonight after work!
ОтветитьGonna give this a try and hope my CPU doesn't light on fire in protest
