He scales off HP like Mundo on his q 3 hit damage, his W shield, and his E collision damage. The bonus damage from the third hit is % max hp exclusively, his W damage scales only with level same for his passive, and his ult is AP only. So he can hit hard with Heartsteel and late game he might become a problem if you let him scale too high. Someone like Vayne would be a hard counter though plus doing any form of hard CC during his E stops him.

I Like the idea of the E- but as a Skarner player I loved the old E far more.
This isnt a good ganking tool unless the target has extreme tunnelvision or is actually blind.

They took away what I liked most with Skarner- tempo.
He has no MS boosts no more and with 0 dashes its a recipe for disaster- long gone is the F1 raptor Skarner

the thing about his E is that it grabs upon contact, not like those displacement type of ccs

I don't like this rework at all. He doesn't look like Skarner, he doesn't play like Skarner either. Another 3-hit % hp shit, another wall ignore shit. Ult looks and feels stupid.
I didn't expect much, and I am still disappointed. But drooling fanboys mouthbreathers will gobble up anything Riot drizzle in their mouths, as usual.
