If you had the unique variant Wild Bill's Sidearm, and both applicable perks (bloody mess and ghoul ecology [the later of which applies it's boost to everything due to being glitched]), you can bring it up to 15 damage! Which is... still pretty abysmal. But if you could get the cowboy perk from new vegas, you could bring that up to 19! Which is still less then new vegas's .357 magnum with no perks. But, if you also did psycho and ate some Yao Guai meat, you could eek it out to 25 points of damage! And if you preformed a sneak attack in that state, you could bring it up to 50, or maybe even 51, depending on how decimals are calculated for damage in fo3. Which is still garbage, considering the very specific circumstances to get all that!

The real crime of the .32 pistol is that it uses the same ammo as the Hunting Rifle

This probably trumps the pipe pistol challenge from fo4 because at least you can modify that one.

Ive actually been a bit dissapointed with the lack of jank on my last nv run. Its froze a couple of times but thats only because been playing all day and the old 360 was gettin hot. So far other than some bad textures only got stuck in the side of a mountain once tryin to snipe deathclaws from as far as possible since playin on veryhard.
Tested out the GRA nukes on deathclaw promontory today.
Dont have 100 in explosives yet but got most of the job done and got to play around a bit with different tools for cleanup.
Been a good day.

The government should have produced as many GECKs as possible and buried them like landmines except with a timer to be set off by radiation rather than idiot vault heroes, the nation could have recovered almost instantly and we would have been spared all the mutated creatures and people.

Imagine how utterly useless a .32 revolver would be in any situation that uses DT rather than the much inferior DR system.

Oh, and to your crashing issues...I don't know how many mods you use when playing these games, but New Vegas Anti-Crash (NVAC) is a GODSEND. I had modded my Fallout 3 so fully that it at one point was crashing just 5 minutes after I started it, but loading up NVAC kept it stable enough to walk Liberty Prime all the way to the Enclave crash free at the end of the game. That section was crashing me on an average of 5 times per walk even with the game unmodded...lol. I know it's a New Vegas mod, but since FO3 and New Vegas use the same engine, it works for this game as well. If you haven't tried it, give it a whirl...works like magic. :)

Hey, there. Curious about one thing: had you been actually insane enough to go into the Pitt during a .32 challenge, would Wild Bill's Revolver been within the rules (as it's a unique .32, after all), or would it be a rule break? Just curious. :)

Hot take, Chinese pistol is worse. Because while 10mm ammo is more abundant. So is the 10mm pistol. Early game the .32 can at least have a "back up of the back up" use when ammo is still scarce.

I may be slow on the uptake, but I just realized Maxsons coat in Fallout 4, looks VERY similar to Colonel Autumn's.
