tge worst ppart is that i relate ame
ОтветитьI relate to Ame. Not explaining that much because I am uncomfortable with but I have an extreme need of attention and approval. I would to (almost) anything for people to admire me.
ОтветитьIt’s an interesting game me and a homie in the barracks play the game and had fun playing the game while also being struck by the game.
ОтветитьIm scared that i and Ame are 2 identical peopoe, but she got popularuty, im not
ОтветитьI appreciate the fact that you straight up call it psychological horror. It might not be Silent Hill, but that description is by far the most apt.
ОтветитьShe has bpd it’s not hard to understand
Ответитьame made me feel so seen tbh
ОтветитьI'm going to be honest. This video isn't nearly comprehensive enough to be considered an analysis at all let alone a psychological one. Much of the "analysis" here is just definitions and very frequently just straight up descriptions of her actions in the game. This video doesn't really say anything. Even things that could've been analyzed were basically brushed off as "this says something about society/us" without ever SAYING what it says. I sat there dreading what was coming every time you said "We'll get to this later" with only 5 minutes left in the video knowing it would be a quick mention and a nothing-burger. Of course I kind of knew what I was getting into watching a 15 minute "psychological analysis" on a video game with central themes of psychology and mental heath. One would figure that it would just be a plot summary and not much else, but it isn't even that. This video could've been a 280 character text post and it would've accomplished the same exact thing with the same amount of depth in less time. I can't even make any suggestions on improvements, because I don't know what you were trying to do with this video. I don't even know what you would even call it, I just know that "analysis" it is not.
ОтветитьIt's impressive how the interpretation of this game changes its narrative. The way I see it, the whole "making a perfect p-chan" was a way of telling that the relationship wasn't parasocial since she was changing p-chan's life as much as p-chan was changing her. She was manipulating them into being the caring/harming figure she needed or thought she deserved.
The imaginary p-chan interpretation goes hard as well because it changes the meaning of sooo many interactions. The one that bugs me the most (besides all the extra self-hrm) is the event in which p-chan visits her parents. Do they play along with her fantasies? Are they also fake? Does the visit actually go in a different way? So many questions left unanswered...
having an imaginary friend despite having an actual irl friend is something that probably only I will experience.
ОтветитьHey pal: Comment te dire adieu means how can I say goodbye
Ответитьi genuinely do not understand how this game is considered a psychological horror. ame is just a little silly!!!
ОтветитьAfter this analysis I'll consider playing the game, but not now.
Ответитьholy shit ame is literally just like me there is no me without her i have genuinely never related to a character more actually she relates to me i am her
ОтветитьThis visual novel shows literally how the current vtuber scene is where 80 prozent of vtubers are filled with insecure young women in they 10s and 20s who have a abusiv and self harmed past that try to escape or who needs money it is not just vtubers but the cosplay scene as well where females takes clicks fame and money is all about instead of self satisfaction to seriously
ОтветитьCan you do Fear and Hunger next?
Ответитьthis feels so real to me , as someone w obsessive love disorder
Ответитьi am diagnosed w bpd n im getting the help i need to keep myself on check & reduce my symptoms because this doesnt have a cure yet. this game hit so close to home that i actually see myself in the messages ame sends me n sometimes, her messages look exactly the way i used to act when i was at my lowest. its genuinely scary how real this game feels
ОтветитьI think Ame's creation of P-chan is also because she needs something to push the blame on...
She embarks on this quest to become the most popular streamer in the world, and if she doesn't reach her goal she can blame P-chan.
It's not my fault that i'm using way too much drugs and overindulging in sxual activities, P-chan made me do it.
Someone online hates me? P-chan do something about it, tell me i'm the best person you ever met.
yes
Ответитьthis is just like fight club ! oh my god !
ОтветитьAre any groups or communities that connect people with interest to psychoanalyse personalities or anything like that?
Ответитьneek
Ответитьthis whole game is just a lesson on why you shouldn't deal with girls shit 💀💀💀
ОтветитьI've done this myself most of my life, Its not always for attentions seeking or approval,
its taking on the presonallity that provides the most results in any given situation
P-Chan, to me, acts as a way for Ame to distance herself from her own actions. It's a way to perpetuate her own self-abuse; by putting her life in the hands of this outside observer, she doesn't have to do the work to improve herself, because she's not in control, "P-chan" is. To that end, the Comment te dire adieu ending is her finally realising that, no, she has to take responsibility for herself. It's her accepting that she is responsible for her own actions, and that she needs help, which is the first step of recovery
ОтветитьI do not like the interpretation that p-chan is not real. It undermines the theme that Ame’s actions have an effect on others, and it’s emphasized by putting YOU in that position. Perhaps her talking about making P-chan do something is about influencing her
I also think that her putting on a cutesy persona that contrasts so directly to her actual aesthetic preferences despite the fact that goth girls would be popular isn’t due to her just following trends. It’s because Ame hates herself. She wants to be loved but she doesn’t want to show who she really is
it's ironic how these kinds of girls had the opposite effect by pissing me off because I was painfully aware of their false persona to manipulate clueless men online lmao
ОтветитьHow to pronounce Comment te dire adieu : Koman tugh dir adiugh
Ответитьi really love this game. like REALLY love it. and it is so fundamentally misunderstood by people who clearly are not mentally ill enough to understand ame. but i think you did a very good job getting the point. ame is very mentally ill and as someone who personally has npd, bpd, and some sort of dissociative disorder, i see myself in her a lot. you did her justice in this video! thank you for not being another "this is a horrible game about treating a cute anime girl horribly and it's in such bad intent and :(((" person
Ответитьthis is corny asf but i just wanna let this out. i really see myself in ame. i have a fairly large social media account. at first i just made it to distract myself from my problems but now im insanely obsessed with likes. everytime i go viral it feels unreal. the more likes i get the more greedy i get. im in an abusive household, so ever since i was little validation is all i ever wanted. i was always involved with cps which naturally fucked me up. i tried every way possible to get attention from everyone both online and irl. my standards get higher and higher. before, 10k likes was a dream. now anything under that means im flopping and i freak out over it. i don't even post about things i like, just things that gain me more likes. i can't even sleep because all i think about is likes. it feels so good seeing comments about people who idolize me. part of me loves it but the other knows it's unhealthy. i despise the feeling i get when i get low likes or lose a follower. it's awful. i don't know how to fix this anymore. i see ame doing or saying the same things as me and it freaks me out
Ответитьi love NSO because its not exaggerated at all, it explores very realistic outcomes of ames and p-chans actions. especially because even though the game is about ame being a streamer the game still nails ames and p-chans relationship and other aspects that aren't the main focus of the game.
ОтветитьIn the lyrics of Internet Yamero Ame says that she did go to a therapist and they told her to get off the internet so she refused and decided to accept her sickness
ОтветитьI’m glad to see another cerebral take on analyzing the mental aspects of this game; thank you very much.
If anything, I sincerely suggest and recommend that you also do the same for Oshi no Ko . The plot revolves and divulges an in depth look at quite a few points and topics of discussion regarding the entertainment industry, personas, and how it affects the performers and personalities in particular, among quite a few other things.
This is my first video I see from you, and I really liked it, I will watch this channel grow up to be extraordinary from now on, good luck!
ОтветитьI honestly think Ame could have disassociate identity disorder/be a system. I myself am not one so I can't speak for the community, however some of my closest friends are and I think they'd agree with my perspective.
Although KAngel may not necessarily be a headmate/alter, I more so definitely think P-Chan is. People who are systems developed headmates as a coping mechanism to heavy trauma, specifically to help them get through everyday life and it's tasks, because of how difficult it is to do it alone or as a single person. As such many headmates can have specific roles, even serving as necessary figures in the hosts' life such as mothers, fathers, friends, etc., which looking at Ame's relationship with P-Chan I think is exactly that.
P-Chan exists to help Ame get through life, help her make decisions, help her with the new responsibilities and fears of streaming because she lack's a person like that in real life. Ame's first ask of P-Chan was to make her successful. P-chan is also responsible for Ame's stability throughout the game.
So to me I interpreted the "true" or "secret" ending as the ending where she was actually able to heal and persevere enough on her own until she didn't need P-Chan anymore. P-Chan being a headmate would also explain why you have such vastly contrasting options for dialogue with her sometimes. After all, headmates have their own identities and this could be giving you the option to choose P-Chan's personality as the player.
I also think Ame has borderline personality disorder, but that's a whole other analysis on its own.
I haven't played the game yet, but I get this uncomfortable feeling in my stomach that I'd find out I'm a lot like Ame. Self sabotaging, attention seeking, with low self-esteem and an imaginary friend who's words erratically shift between encouraging and destructive. I don't think I'd be surprised if I ended up like her in the event I tried to be famous, which is kind of scary and sad
ОтветитьHot Take:
The best ending is the one where she quits and resolves to become a “normie”
Subscribed, great vid
Ответитьcame over here after achieving the internet overdose ending and boy oh boy let me tell you that i wish i did not dig deeper into this game and get that ending by going 'gee i wonder what maxing out stress does'
back in middle and high school, ive never went to the extremes of saying or doing disturbing stuff online for an audience to see (thank god) but i absolutely did get mental breakdowns in DMs before that went as well as you'd expect, so that whole 5 day long uncontrollable ending in-game reminded me of my past and it really did make me uncomfortable and made me wanna go outside and touch grass afterwards
Like that p-Chan was a girl
Ответитьit's sad how many parralels i can draw to her... im in the exact same situation as her except i dont stream
ОтветитьTyler the creator💯
ОтветитьZzzzzzz
