She's got some nuts
ОтветитьYa it's smart to start with a higher valuation knowing they will lowball...but you have to be able to back it up with numbers
ОтветитьEvery woman with an idea thinks they're a CEO
ОтветитьNicepipes is now worth over $5 million.
ОтветитьWomen are so catered to in todays world. Don’t hurt their precious little feelings!
ОтветитьStill super cute girl though
ОтветитьI have three words for you....
Ha ha ha!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I can get this made from my china manufacture and supplier for 5% of the cost
ОтветитьShe comes off as such a Southern California girl to me (I’m raised there)
ОтветитьShe just passed $30M in sales this year
ОтветитьYou tell alot about a person from first instinct. i would not trust her with anything she gives off murderer vibes.
Ответитьmy old sales manager taught me a good lesson: 50% of a watermelon is better than 100% of a grape
ОтветитьWow can you believe that gril don't know nothing yet you never will get your money back.
ОтветитьI really respect her fortitude. Hope she’s doing well!
ОтветитьDumb decision. 60% of $20 Million is a whole lot more than 100% of $80,000.
ОтветитьI dont think it's one of the worst pitches.
ОтветитьShould have countered with 33% for 100k after Barbara declined the 25% counter.
ОтветитьThis show is only entertaining when the entrepreneurs are mercilessly interrogated, ridiculed, and their dreams are crushed.
ОтветитьArm warmers? I use a shirt or a hoodie. She spent 300k of her own?
ОтветитьA dumb woman
Ответитьbadpipes
ОтветитьShe came across as combative and that was her downfall...
ОтветитьThe biggest problem is her attitude. She comes in like some angry sorority girl with a real holier than thou smug attitude. Her vocal tone is horrendous. And we see the ego reflected in naming herself CEO of her made up nothing company with no employees. Thats like declaring your house a kingdom and demanding everyone call you queen. This is why the sharks started ganging up on her 100%. Not because of her product but because of her attitude. This isnt some bar where you can bend over in your yoga pants and get drunk guys to buy you drinks and give you compliments hun. This is real life.
ОтветитьKevin is right about this... thing aint new... In Taiwan, alot of people wear the UV arm sleeves when they are riding their scooters. They have been doing that for more than a decade... The material her socks are made of are NOT even comparable to technology found in the sleeves worn for scooters nowadays. I was so amazed by the sleeves because, apart from blocking the UV, it actually has ability to make your arms feel cooler in the Californian sun. When I bought them they were around 5USD to 10USD. I fully understand what she's offering is a "lifestyle" and brand... but its not worth a 1,000,000 evaluation. She has 300k of her own money and 80k in sales in sales. Also, like what Kevin said, she's offering a "non-proprietary sock". Either she does not know the "Three C's" of entrepreneurship or she's trying to use shark tank to gain some brand recognition and traction to make up for the 2nd "C". No IP, no licensing, no story/messaging behind the brand, absolutely no barrier to entry by competition, 1 Million Evaluation, asking for 100k for 10%...
ОтветитьLots of idiots come on the show with generic (often Chinese) gimmick clones and pretend they "invented" it
ОтветитьKevin was right haha
ОтветитьI can't take Mark seriously with the hand things he's got on"
ОтветитьThis is not an original idea
ОтветитьShe didn't invent that hahahaha
ОтветитьAnother IDIOTIC valuation !!!!!!!!!!!! You had 80,000 freakin dollars in sales but asking the sharks to invest at $1,000,000. Jus plain DUMB
ОтветитьBarbara was more so buying into her , she shoulda took the deal
ОтветитьShe should’ve countered a second time with a 1/3 after Barbara declined the 25% offer.
ОтветитьThis is an elementary school project
Ответить40% is a lot.
ОтветитьFor the price of 4 pairs of pants...u can buy the legs of a pair 😂
ОтветитьKevin is right. These socks are all over Amazon and Etsy and have been around for a while. She likely even ripped off the idea from everyone else making them.
Ответить$4,000,000 in annual revenue as of June 2023. Eat that sharks!
Ответить“Who’s ready to show me their pipes” would have had me out of this investment immediately
ОтветитьBarbara just seems borderline sexist at this point, it seems like she wanted a deal just to ''support a fellow woman''
ОтветитьRobert: Your valuation of 1 million is incomprehensible.
Woman: i hate that you dont trust me...
😂😂
The woman came to battle. You gotta give her that. I see why Barbara wanted the deal. I feel like when Kevin Challenged the entrpreneur's ceo thing, thats when she made a strategic error and dropped barbara. Barbara brought the comfy to like 200 million or more in sales. Also many of her other businesses do quite well, like cousins maine lobster. Unless they editted out where Barbara wouldnt budge from 40%, then she should have negotiated barb down to the 30's
Ответитьtypical woman boss
Ответитьwho cares she makes millions now.
ОтветитьHow come Mark's and Robert's hair dyes look more natural nowadays?
ОтветитьKevin was 100% spot on... her product is a non-proprietary sock and she turned down Barb?!?!? CRAZY AND DELUSIONAL... seems like the company is dead too, no update since 2018... smdh...
ОтветитьIf you dress in More than
Just underwear,
You Won't Get cold !
(( Simple huh))
People wanting to own the whole grape instead of a piece of the watermelon (stfu about the origin of this phrase) just blow my mind, its almost like they're afraid of money 😂
