More of this immediately.
ОтветитьThis is cool, but where is it leading, really?
ОтветитьI guess we've just given up on the realism that came from saying you'd never see a starship like the Enterprise in atmosphere. That was the entire premise and hook behind Voyager being able to land on a planet; it was unique in that regard. A ship as ungainly and big as Enterprise should collapse at the neck from the weight of the saucer section in a gravity well.
Still, great videos but it's just sad to see that even the fan creations of Trek trying to evoke the past have lost this aspect to them. Axanar had the same issue.
Im sure spoke was in this. Am I being gas lit?
ОтветитьWhat you have done is absolutely amazing. Its hard to put it into words. You've taken the movie studio theatrics out of Star Trek and have given it something new - epic realism. Out of all these videos I have watched, I don't feel like I am watching a Paramount produced Star Trek show. I feel like I am watching something that is real. Thank you guys. You truly have improved upon Gene Roddenberry's vision.
Ответить70's concept art aesthetics. Great job!
ОтветитьWhy did you take down the regeneration video?
ОтветитьI could swear that is the same actress. I know she is not digital. How?
ОтветитьThe style of this is so correct with TMP style that it looks like lost footage. It's a crying shame that this isn't how Strange New Worlds is being done visually.
ОтветитьFor anyone who wonders about "765874": That is the service number of Yeoman J.M. Colt.
Ответитьthe careful restraint and attention paid to the old film looks is so nice and for some reason fresh. Such a good break from shiny gooey nfts after the past 5 years
ОтветитьAs a child of the seventies I watched the original as reruns and thus have been a huge fan. These Regeneration shorts are absolutely outstanding. The imagery is stunning. The attention to detail gives this production that epic feel. It literally gave me goosebumps. This is what Trek should be. My kudos to the talented individual(s). Paramount should hire such talent. Thank You for this.
ОтветитьDo you get the feeling someone is making a new movie for the 60th anniversary. These OTOY clips have new scenes from Star Trek TMP to after Star Trek Generations. Why?
ОтветитьSimply outstanding work you are doing here. It feels like I watched the original pilot episode and then had a vivid dream later that night mixed with modern film making aesthetics
Ответитьwhat does the number at the end mean?
ОтветитьThis is how Strange New Worlds and Discovery S1+2 should have looked. If Star Wars (and the last episodes of Picard) can stay true to the 70s/80s aesthetic, without looking outdated, so can Trek.
ОтветитьThe actress playing yomen Colt is so beautiful and classic looking. Does anyone know her name?
ОтветитьThis 32 second clip has more heart and effort put into it than anything Trek related shat out since 2009 combined.
ОтветитьWhat I love about this, the Memory Bank, and Regeneration is there is almost no dialogue and it’s all environmental storytelling.
No voiceover trying to explain everything, no music to try and hypnotize you, just crisp visuals that leave you intrigued.
What does the number mean? I think it's code for resurrection/regeneration.
ОтветитьIt's good.........but the Enterprise is not to scale. The reason why you never see it on Earth or a planet and only in orbit (at least in TOS) is because it is so large.
ОтветитьSpectacular
ОтветитьContrast this with the reality of what San Francisco actually looks like today…lol
ОтветитьStarship ON Earth? No.
ОтветитьOh come on... this is amazing. Thank you OTOY. More please.
ОтветитьI have no idea what's happening, but I want more.
Ответитьso what is 765874 ? I feel like I should maybe know. Thanks ! live long and prosper !
ОтветитьThis is REALLY FANTASTIC!!! Not to nit pic but how come they did not use the original iconic FONT on the saucer???
ОтветитьThese videos you've been producing are fantastic!
ОтветитьWow !
ОтветитьReally well done.. seriously. It has a wonderful late '60s, early '70s "je ne sais quoi" I felt watching Logan's Run in the theater, or ST: The Motion Picture. The atmosphere on these are perfect and correct. Lighting is perfect. CGI is believable in the human figures. The ambience is stellar.
ОтветитьWOW! Can someone fill me in? Ive watched a bunch of these with what looks like outtakes with Leonard Nemoy, I think it's Deep Fake? Is this a project for a show? Movie?
ОтветитьThis 30 second clip has more respect for Star Trek than anything nutrek has vomited up in the last almost 8 years now.
ОтветитьCould you PLEASE explain 765874?
ОтветитьThese seconds are better than any Kurtzman-Trek so far. Amazing work!
ОтветитьJust a peeve of mine but they never had the enterprise land for budgetary reasons the effects would have been to much which is why the transporters were conceptualized and I think the utopia planitia shipyards were in orbit. I dont think the USS 1701 ever landed on earth or any planet for that matter.
ОтветитьIt’s very good work guys! Stunning! But maybe the city / vehicles could look a bit more jetsons / retro in design as that would suit the tos aesthetic a little better
ОтветитьI can't recall the characters name, but I knew exactly who it was when I saw it...
ОтветитьThis looks good enough to entice JJ to come back to produce and direct.
ОтветитьLooks way better then being built in a wheat field!
ОтветитьI like seeing the StarShip Enterprise docked in a bay area in a city, looks great!
ОтветитьThis is awesome and top marks for the Bertone Lancia Stratos Zero in the street scene.
ОтветитьThis is the original Enterprise!. Forget J.J. Abrams and Alex Kurtzman. I wished "OTOY" could produce the official Star Trek movies/episodes....... This is really amazing 😍😍😍
ОтветитьSo...what the hell is this? Don't get it at all.
ОтветитьOTOY, I love everything you are doing. I feel like this is the most wholesome sector of nostalgic entertainment. Thank you and R.I.P Mr. Gene Roddenberry. Thank you, OOTY and ALL collaborators. Absolutely beautiful work. Live long and prosper. 🖖
ОтветитьI need to know what that number is... 765874...
ОтветитьHoly smokes, that's utterly amazing... I almost hate to admit it, but that gave me a bit of the case of goosebumps. Just blew me right back to the good days of Trek that I grew up with. Absolutely fantastic work. I would buy you a beer if I could. Or a shot, or whatever you wanted to drink. You sure as heck earned it, no doubt.
ОтветитьWho is the actress? ❤
