I know this is old as hell now, but maybe YT's live streaming platform is an option?
As purely a YT-user-only, it seems like YT is genuinely trying to sort out the dumpster fire over here.

I send Feedback about issues (as detailed as I can), issues that crop up a few days prior and I give them a chance to get sorted... One it's been a few days or a week, I do a feedback and genuinely, a lot of the things get fixed within a day or two (unless it's the weekend).

And many actual suggestions I've given, have been Incorporated, or tried. Like the huge issue with suggested cogent getting so unrelated, I said they should rollback the code to a like a year ago, before that happened...

Well, sure enough, they rolled shit back! 😮
Which I know this because some old, small issues I had them fix previously, returned (things like moving a video to the first spot in a Playlist not updating, or the Watch Later disappearing from view, or the Watched Video red bar vanishing; all previously fixed, but have returned... BUT, recommended videos that are the opposite to our interests are gone 👍)

Anyways, I've lived up to my name here.
YT Live might be a good fit. Seems they have a good number of the basics that Twitch offers: live chat, donations, notifications, live chat moderators, memberships, unique emotes, etc
It all seems to work really well, based on having tuned into @NASASpaceflight streams for SpaceX Starship testing, where they have >250,000 people watching during those streams!
