Thank you so much. For VMWare Workstation Player 17 (Free), executed the following command: VMware-workstation-full-17.0.2-21581411.exe /x Then only needed to copy vmnetcfg.exe from my current %temp% folder to my existing VMWare Player (Free) install folder and execute it with Administrator privileges.
ОтветитьWorks fine
Thanks
Its telling me to install vmware workstation i already have it installed and the command is not working
ОтветитьHey this technique is not working for vmware 14 workstation pro, not able to extract the file.
Ответитьfor version 14, after you extract the msi file from the download, copy only the vmnetcfg.exe (under \EXTRACTED-FOLDER\VMware\VMware Workstation\) and it should work
Ответитьthis does not work for workstation 14 :(
that means that i have to downgrade to workstation 10 oh well.
Thanks, but this is not working with Vmware workstation 14 :)

Ответитьхуита, в 12 плеере его нет
ОтветитьActually, I could not find the .dll file. So, I just copied the vmnetcfg.exe and ran it and it worked! Sweet!

ОтветитьHow come when I do the extract, it asked me to install?
ОтветитьThank you very much, saved me a lot of time trying to remove adapters.
This worked using VMWare Workstation Player 12.

ОтветитьMillion Thanks~
ОтветитьHi, hope this site is still alive... the workstation file now in vmware is .exe how do you extract the vmwareworkstation.msi then?
