👣🌏🤭✌️
ОтветитьI only figured out about a year ago: Homer has no idea about the Bible, he is merely conjuring up random numbers, so, HE COMES UP WITH A COMMON FOOTBALL SCORE!!!!! 21-17!!! (3 TD's vs 2 TD's & a FG).
It's extra Funny that it, totally randomly, turns out to be a Legit verse, & Lovejoy actually knows it!!!!! Homer then gives the standard "conspiracy theorist who knows nothing but is a good Put On" reply: "Think About It!" (worthy of Herschel Walker lmfao)
Of course, this was from wayyyyy back in the days before 2 pt conversions & moving the PAT back 10 yards, nowadays the scores are hardly ever this "neat".
This is relevant for me because my father is from Bethany, aka Al Azariya. So he did just that.
ОтветитьHomer's right!
ОтветитьSometimes Homer's ignorance can get him out of a difficult situation.😂
Ответить“Yeah…..think about it.” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThere goes a dog with a puffy tail is my favourite quote.
ОтветитьAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Homer is like,"yaeh think about it!" points finger at the pastor clearly knowing absolutely nothing about what he said or why. HAHAHA
ОтветитьWords to live by.
Ответитьyour the salt of the earth homer
ОтветитьTo be fair that does coincide with Homer's predicament. He is doing something different, whoch in a way is like seperating yourself from everyone else.
ОтветитьImagine how their relationship would be if they knew they both hated Flanders.
ОтветитьYeah. Think about it…
ОтветитьLovejoy is such a hypocrite, he hates Homer, he wants Marge to divorce him and yet he doesn't want him to leave.
ОтветитьWhat about Ezekiel 25 17?
ОтветитьYou know, weirdly enough, that verse speaks volumes about Homer.
ОтветитьEzekiel 23:20
You're welcome.
Back when the Simpsons was actually enjoyable and funny.
Ответить😆👍👍
ОтветитьHahaha so funny 😂
ОтветитьYeah yeah think people draw ✍️ your own conclusions
Ответитьever since this episode, i've had this bible verse permanently memorized lol.
ОтветитьWould have been better if homer picked John 14:6: "Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?"
ОтветитьRight after that verse is the story of Jesus cursing the fig tree. Homer probably could've used that in his argument somehow...if he actually knew what he was talking about.
ОтветитьWhat did he say Matthew?
That is my name
To overcome the Reverend's curse, simply quote a bible verse.
ОтветитьActually if you think about it, it makes sense
Ответитьthe animation of Homer is a crack up
Ответить- Marge: Homer, you're crazy! Jesus isn't an intolerant that promotes dissenssion among people, he's pure love. Tell him!
- Rev Lovejoy: Homer I'd like you to remember John 13: 34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."
- Homer: And you remember Mathew 12: 30.
- Rev Lovejoy: “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters."
- Homer: Yeah, think about it.
Maybe the most clever thing Homer has said, even if unintentional. This is way better than “barking up the wrong bush”
Ответитьhonestly though, lovejoy is pretentious buffoon who only cares about donations and his sermons sound like fanatic ramblings from a 60s megachurch. he dislikes, nay despises his flock, multiple times he gives the impression to regard them as little more than gullible morons. if i was homer, he would be the last man on earth who could persuade me.
ОтветитьI think this is the only time in the entire series we get the impression that Lovejoy is actually good at his job
ОтветитьReverend Lovejoy may not know the Bible as well as Flanders, but he does his best.
ОтветитьI’m going to NY whooooa coming with me lol
Ответить"Love each other as brothers and sisters, and honor others more than you do yourself."
Romans 12:10
◄ Matthew 21:17 ►
And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there
So basically, Homer said "GET OUT!!! OUTTTT!!!"
ОтветитьLove the classic animation here
Ответитьspanish homero always better
ОтветитьI want you have deacons from your church following me in the Wegmans we have a fucking problem guys bring a fucking problem Mason...
ОтветитьHey Homer why do I have a bunch of fuck face people from your fuck face church following me in the Wegmans...
Ответитьwhat episode is this
ОтветитьI looked it up and apparently Matthew 7:26 actually states "And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:"
Ответить"And Homer spake unto the Reverend, saying: Leave us, and go out of the city unto Bethany, and lodge there"
ОтветитьEvery time I send my friend a verse he references this video.
ОтветитьJust read numbers to get sleepy
