updating dlss has given stability at busy scenery like ini build heaathrow fly tampa sydney and orbx melbourne, and now with fsr3 mod, holy smokes, standing at gate in sydney i can cleary see the orbx sydney citypack, game completely renders everything even at that distance for my paltry 2070super. earlier the city scenery would not even load until i got in some 4-5nm distance.

but for MSFS, if you people are flying airlines, prefer to have TAA instead of any dlss. the clarity and crisp is wortht anything else.

When I run it, I get nothing, no window, no games scanned. Nothing happens? When I try to replace the file manually I get no access/permissions to change/edit/add any file to the msfs folder.

How do you get that little frame rate panel over in the upper right hand side?

My DLSSG was already at 3.5.1 so this made no difference for 40 series cards.

My DLSSG file is 3.5.10 after SU14. Don't need to do this. Already installed. I'm running an RTX4090.

Hello, I tried this method today. Since I have a version from the store, I have to insert this file manually into the folder. I follow the instructions in the video step by step to get the rename correction in the Windwos Apps folder. However, when I try to do this, I keep getting a message saying that I don't have permission to rename this file or change anything in this folder. I have given myself the rights via the advanced settings as in the video. Am I doing something wrong?

I don't get this. What DLSS Switcher does if we must manually replace the .dll files in the sim folder?

I have no games showing, just a black backdrop with no MSFS 2020 which is the only game on my system.

Using DLSS in this sim does some funky ghosting of numbers in digital cockpits so it's a no-go! TAA is really where it's at. Clean crisp graphics and awesome speeds

Hello sir, aftrer many many many testing version of updating DLSS, my avionics blurred, DLSS blurs out avionics so i will go back to TAA. Shame because it really increase fps. thks for your video sir

What if nvngx_dlssg.dll does not exist in the WindowsApps folder? I've already taken ownership of the WindowsApps folder and the fact that I can see the folder and all of the contents means I've set the right view options. I'm running Windows 11 version 23H2, Build 22635.2841 on an i9 12900K with an MSI Suprim 4090 with NVidia drivers version 546.29.

I'd recommend upgrading to a 5800X3D if financially able. Cheaper upgrade than going to the 7800X3D where you'd need a new motherboard/ram. You would notice a big upgrade going to the 5800X3D from your current CPU

SU14 brought DLSS 3.5.1 most recent from what I read.

Eight hours decompressing that stupid update, unacceptable I’m trashing, MSFS, and staying with DCS world… update still isn’t done decompressing

Im on the ms store version of MSFS and just used the Swapper program and did not have to do the file cut/paste/rename step like in the video. The Swapper file can be used to download the new file and swap in the file for MSFS. Not sure why the video shows that second part where he manually located the MSFS DLSS file and overwrote it with the downloaded file, but that’s the manual way to do it if the Swapper program somehow doesn’t work. Note for some users like Steam the MSFS files are stored in a different place so the Swapper may not work and you will have to manually locate the old MSFS DLSS file and cut/paste in the new file manually.

Steam does not use the windows apps folder. Thought I would mention it and also it seems that my file has already been updated to the latest version using steam without any manual updating regarding my 4090. Unsure if steam does this automatically or not.

Your GPU is taking 5ms to render a frame while your CPU is taking 25ms...a new CPU Will help you alot

No games shown when opening swapper, msfs store version

It would have been helpful if you stated if you are running in TAA mode or DLSS mode

So far, no one here has had any luck or positive results with this. A couple blank screens scares me enough to even attempt this 😮

I tried DLSS briefly, but the way it blurs the cockpit displays is unacceptable. There’s also a very apparent lag, as each frame is being generated. The trade off isn’t worth it, especially since the whole affair does nothing for FPS. 😔

I installed the DLSS Swapper app and three other games show up, but not MSFS. 😢

I'm running an old 1070 card and all I show in options is a DLAA setting.

How are you showing the fps information?

I installed it and im getting a blank screen, did some research and we should get latest DLSS updates with the nvidia drivers updates...

So, what is this doing exactly? The latest DLSS versions don’t come with the Nvidia driver? I presume in order to see the improvements you must switch to DLSS inside the sim.
