Mane I still can’t get squad to work

Red dots are good but iron sights are unusable since the update

When I look in a scope in rl, I don't see blear

It has definitely forced me to use red dots and iron sights more, which I appreciate. I used to use acogs without even having to think about it.

As a guy who used a giggle switch I can say this game has too much fucking recoil.

My game crashes frequently what should I do ?

All this update did was change the animations slightly and make the gun play worse by slowing down the game every gun fight now just feels more like luck than skill unless im sitting in a bush doing nothing for 15 minutes

also it feels like your man never have hold a gun before

The current one is better. The weapons were way squirrelier before the current setup and it sucked so I’d hope they don’t go back to that

The scopes and the suppression system makes sense people who complain about recoil dont like that they cant beam you with m249 from 800 meters away ya the recoil sucks but from what squad was before it was run forward and and try and kill as many people like call of duty no tactical sense just doing what you’ve been doing on war zone for the past 4 years sprinting and shooting

how i used It?

Good, maybe make it so that i dont have to sit still for 10 seconds in order to aim straight

dont know how the game worked before but currently every gun is unusable. the gun kick is way too high and auto fire is obsolete, as a former military i can tell that weapons in real life fire much more accurately than this game. still all the gun issues aside the atmosphere is super realistic and palyer base is really funny, had tons of fun only playing for a few days yet.

It'll just increase the amount of campers in the game

no me gusta. can this just be a seperate game mode for realism? I don't enjoy the game this way, so I haven't played since the update.

Did the devs with sausage wrists put their own shooting animations into this?

Had my first go with the update with some friends, gotta say the pacing is a lot better, people are communicating more, the games don’t feel like they take forever or are just stomping feats the whole time

I love the update. This game finally feels likes a tactics and strategy game set in the first person.

I always struggled with squad, like id just get one tapped constantly out of nowhere. Now that the update is here i feel like i have a chance against the people with great aim

It would be great if the devs improved weapon recoil from advice from real soldiers

When game devs never shoot and even hold weapon in hands, try to make „realistic” improvments this is what happening, from trained soldier we went to 5yo kid holding weapon. I have acog scope to my hunting rifle and its not even close how and what you see though scopes like this + even i (not trained soldier) can aim shoot with more accuracy than it is in game now

yeah nah guns really have like no recoil irl if u use them correctly these devs need to shoot sum actual guns

Tbh, they need to nerf the weapon swaying while ads because it's not because it's annoying, but it gives me the motion sickness

Arma players love it

It feels like my character has chronic diabetes and has endless shakes because of it what kinda soldiers do they think we’re sending in one that can’t even hold up a gun straight laying on the ground the only way of getting a stable gun is a mounted one or a bipod on the marksman or the lmg no wonder why everyone hates the snipers because they the only ones that aren’t diabetics in the game

I really hope they smooth out the gunplay it just feels so fake and jerky is the best way I can describe it

i like it but why are the russian weapons FOV on scopes stupidly high makes it near on impossible to see anyone, the acog on the usa weapons is like a sniper scope

Never seen a company purposefully wreck their own game 7+ years into release. Impressive.

At first I was pissed and hated it. Now I love it. It just needs some tweaks, specifically recoil which was already super unrealistic with some guns, it needs towed down a bit, weapon sway need to be less. but it definitely brings some realismish, and slows things down and forces tactics and teamwork

I like it but I think the time to ads especially with pistols is a little much but other than that it’s the best update the game has ever seen

I mean if the soldier didn’t have the arm strength of a fuckin 13 year old the game would be amazing

this update made the game soooo much better. I know squad has never tried to cater to the milsim market but this update made real world tactics actually usable which is a great step in that direction

i dont like the aiming system it feels so damn uncontrollable even when you have full stamina and laying down it will make for better gameplay but for gunplay its an L
