This was good! 🤗
ОтветитьThis was fantastic. Thank you. I’m reading the Terminator script and am halfway through Event Horizon trying to get into the headspace and absorb everything and this helped so much. Cheers to everyone writing. I stopped drinking recently and things are coming easier than before.
ОтветитьI really like the explanation
ОтветитьWhere can I read screen plays?
ОтветитьI've been writing for some years now, and this video is a great reminder (giving notes) as teaching me new ways to elevate my stories. I'll be able to read older screenplays or current ones (through revisions) to add these touches. Thank you so much!!!
ОтветитьI have a few questions, and I hope someone sees this and can answer. If I have a character speaking to someone over the phone but the character they are speaking two is never physically seen in the scene, but we can hear their dialogue, would I put (O.S) at every one of their lines, or would it be redundant because it's already established in the script that they aren't physically there. Likewise, if two characters are speaking to each other through walkie-talkies or phones, would it be redundant to put (into walkie-talkie) at every one of their lines?
ОтветитьGod bless you.
ОтветитьWhen I'm screenwriting in studiobinder, it always has numbers on the sides of my sluglines. How do I get rid of them?
ОтветитьI'm talking to this crazy bitch rn and she's so fucking crazy makes semse why her groomer is leaving lmaooo, she's gonna ruin me so bad
ОтветитьOne page = one minute of screen time. No. A myth.
ОтветитьLIFE saver 😢😢😢. Thank you
ОтветитьOne page = One Minute??
ОтветитьIt’s like programming the scene.
ОтветитьThankYou
ОтветитьThanks.
Ответить😢 I'm new at this and I don't understand a thing
ОтветитьI subscribed
ОтветитьI am confident to write my own a short screenplay of mh dream film project at the age of 13
ОтветитьIts cool
ОтветитьOk
Ответить❤ Tysm 😮
ОтветитьBarton Fink.
ОтветитьWhy does the narrator for this video sound like Gerald Undone?
ОтветитьPlease remove the music?
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI tried to write my first screenplay when I was a teenager but it didn't go over too well but this has inspired me to get back into the groove of things. Mind you, I've been writing a lot lately but I really want to go down the screenplay route.
ОтветитьWhat is different between script and screenplay? If I complete my story structure can I write screenplay or script is important? This make me confused 😢
ОтветитьNothing about the margins
ОтветитьI have a script due in a few days for school. Only 5-7 pages, however no matter how much I have read I couldn’t grasp even the concept of writing. Brain kind of sucks that way, but your video here has helped TREMENDOUSLY. Thank you so much for such a well put together, forward, and informative video.
My script was finished in an hour after polishing (I did have a “vomit draft” prepared)
Thank you for taking a weight off my shoulders, thank you for having the ability to teach someone like myself. Happily subscribed
is that kirk?

Former Actor's LATER becoming Producer's, and Director's, ALL say, the MOST IMPORTANT thing in scriptwriting---is FORMATTING.
ОтветитьFADE-IN ... FADE-OUT, and CAMERA ANGLES, should alway's be left to the Director. When they receive a script, it will be re-written SEVERAL TIMES before production even begins, and even DURING production, it will again be re-written.
Re-writing a script is an ON-GOING process; from the moment the script is sold, to the very END--and even BEYOND!
Often time's, a change in the ending is made and they have to GO BACK, and re-shoot the ENTIRE ENDING SCENE.
Screenplay just seems like instructions for directors. Doesn’t that take away from holding them accountable to be creative. A good director should be able to take a good book and turn it into a movie without help. My opinion
ОтветитьMedia students were u at???😂😂
ОтветитьBro you rock!!! Hope you write screenplay too
ОтветитьThank you so much, you have given me the courage to begin❤
Ответитьi thought this would be a basic format video, yall literally went over every technique and showed visuals. i love studiobinder. the only corporate like entity on YT that teaches me as much as individuals/smaller channels like thomas flight, filmento , hi top films. microbudget indie film podcast etc
ОтветитьTotally agree with others that this is succinct and well done!
ОтветитьFantastic
ОтветитьIf you are finding an easiest way to learn to format a screenplay? This video is a must watch, 10000% recommended! <3
ОтветитьI am in my first year of Ba journalism and mass communication and just want you to know this video was incredibly useful
ОтветитьAwesome introduction
ОтветитьAmazing video! So well explained.
ОтветитьCHYRON: 👍
ОтветитьI have a question... I understand the need for formatting but why is dialog not in quotes. It seems to mean that makes it somewhat difficult to differentiate dialog from action lines. By putting dialog in quotation marks, it stands out. Would that make it easier for the actor reading the screenplay to find their lines?
ОтветитьShort and sweet video!
Ответить👁💚💧🎬💉🧬🦋
ОтветитьThis is perhaps the most informative six minute video I have ever seen
