I'm very impressed by this player. I always hear how difficult this game is, yet they just brute force their way through the entire game. Your block and parry game is A+. You make me want to play it. 😅

I recommend folks watch this at 2x speed. More specifically the longer fights like boss battles and it changes the whole experience. It honestly sounds like music with the sound of the swords performing the song and dance. FromSoftware did an amazing job with this game and it will be my all time favorites.

I can't beat Father Owl. Skipping him at this point.

The FromSoftware games have this unique ability to bring you right to the edge of insanity with how punishing the difficulty is. Yet, by the end of the game, you're proud of the accomplishment. Perhaps it's because the journey has its ups and downs, just like life. The stakes of getting past a certain section of the game feel so high it just adds to the frustration of failing. I believe barely getting through an encounter really brings out the ability for the player to truly try. Mastering the combat also feels rewarding which sadly, is not always an emotion felt with other games.
