A Komodo dragon would be likely to encounter but those dinosaurs are preposterous.

One of my best friends was Russell Dunham a legendary Medal of Honor man in WW2 and the star James Arness was one of the guys in his platoon and Russ saved his life at Anzio and they became lifelong friends.

Lol. All those Aussie parts and not a single Aussie to play them. They all sound like Americans. Even the pirates are American!

I expected Tumak (Victor Mature) to show up during the volcano scene. I guess his shots ended up on the editing room floor.

How come the "Queenslanders" in this movie all have AMERICAN accents???

Certain of the volcano erupting scenes look like what I saw on One Million BC... the 1940 movie... not the 1965 (or so) remake with Rachel Welch.

A sweet and simple adventure movie.

This is the sort of movie I used to love watching as a kid on a Saturday afternoon.

"Classic" ???? No.

After all his adventures at sea, it's interesting to note he decided to take on the job of Sheriff in the American west.

James Arness is credited as "James Aurness"...guess that's his real name.

Low amplitude forces sound equipment to be turned up. There are sharp spark like noises in the audio that give me apprehension about blowing speakers. Nice show, wish I could watch.
