I'd love to get a drumtec set but you guys don't ship to Turkey for some reason

Kick-drums are in my opinion, one of the specific products where Drum-tec outperforms Roland by a large margin in product design and durability. Always recommend either a Drum-tec Kick or Efnote, those are amazing too.

God I considered buying a VAD507 but in these video they seem almost as loud as a real bass drum

I should have done more research. I live in an apartment, and just purchased the 301. Maybe if a play heal down, I won't offend the neighbors 😢

Would help if the player hits both products with same intensity, as the (sales) bias is obvious. When playing the kit you can even see it on the front drum head movement etc. It is quieter so it was not necessary.

Wow what a difference, thank ypu to make that one, nobody ever take the real sound factor seriously, bunch of edrum player are actually uying edrum to be quiet for mutiple reasons, kids, neighbors etc

Do you have any solution to muffle it ?
I saw on your website patch and specific beater that could absorb sound.
Will it work with the vad506 kick pad ?

I've sent a few emails to you guys regarding a purchase. What's the typical response time?

i think drum-tec pricing strategy is premium oriented, which explain the very high price. Come on a Yamaha custom Stage is 379€ on Thoman, and clearly they sound excellent. Anyway Roland is overpriced, DrumTec is overpriced, that's the deal. To me the only missing criteria as far as ebass drum or pad is concerned is how well it triggers. Which is not compared here. Real feel and all of that means nothing if it double triggers or it miss trigger. ATV really change everything with their 3 triggers layout because it triggers well. my 2 cents.

drum-tec is the clear winner ! Otherwise, even without actual sounds your playing is still enjoyable, groovy and balanced !!

They're both expensive AF... but I'd take the DrumTec one over the Roland one any day as I "think" the shells you're using (Drumtec) are Sonor sourced? I mean I could be wrong but that kinda shell quality will last forever if I'm right. Also the roland is just a KD9 suspended in a mylar head. VS the actual internals of the DrumTec are much more solid/robust and accurate IMO from what I've seen/heard. Also Mylar vs Mesh heads is a real noise difference.
