I am an avid fan of dota from its first iteration in wc3 custom game and so I really wanted to hate on arcane but damn its really a good piece of animation. everything looks beautiful and the story is pretty good. made me a fan of the series

Oh my god, now that we know that rune is the acceleration rune, it all lines up.
They didn't teleport to another location, they accelerated time to a season where there is no storm and snow! That's why we see the earth spin, its signifying the days going by!
