Please keep making these videos they’re the only thing I can listen to while practicing. Keep up the great work, I beg.
ОтветитьOne could compare Yamaguchi to Rock Lee, to some degree, both are relatively Talentless with nothing that stands out too much at first, then they took an Important step forward with a supportive Teacher by their side, Shimada and Might Guy, giving them encouraging words helping them out and teaching them their special techniques,
and after tons of training both receive an Important Boost in self confidence, becoming the Underdog we root for, every Time Yamaguchi has to serve, the audience roots for him, whenever Rock Lee fights an incredible Opponent like Gaara, the audience Cheers, they are the embodiment of Zero to Hero.
And for That reason I think Yamaguchi has slowly become one of my favourite side characters, he is just a dude standing on the court with Monsters.
and when I learned that he became Captain of Karasuno I was happy for him, he finally achieved it, he earned his place among the geniuses and Monsters of Volleyball, kinda like Oikawa,a regular guy, with no special talent, capable and strong enough to stand toe to toe with the likes of Kageyama,Shoyo or even other from their grade in other schools like Goshiki or Konegawa, Yamaguchi deserves hella respect for that, and more then anyone else deserved Captian for beeing able to not only stand with them, but have a weapon they do not have.
the Jump Float Serve.
Can you do one with diamond no ace , i really love the series and had been enjoying and giving me hopes as i strive and your videos are very amazing
ОтветитьYamaguchi and i are the same😢
ОтветитьHey man you gotta make a video about ippo from haijime no ippo, im sure you'll make a great video
ОтветитьYamaguchi reminds me of a speedrunner who chose a catagory with glitches, they understood they didn't have the skill compared to other top runners, yet realized they could make a niche for themselves with glitches. Yamaguchi is aware he doesn't have the same talent as the other players, yet if he can hone his skills in one area, one niche, he can still find a place on the court with the others who are just as good as him. Just like that speedrunner who was able to make a spot for themself on the leaderboards with the other top runners.
ОтветитьLlore
ОтветитьI won't lie but you're the fucking GOAT.
Ответитьthis is the best HQ video i have watched, and this is saying something, trust me. kudos!
ОтветитьAnother great video! I hope you can check out Chihayafuru! It's another sports anime that not a lot of people are talking about that dwells on the concept of passion, hunger, and different reasons to pursue a sport
ОтветитьThis is really, really amazing! My favorite, after Hinata, is Yamaguchi! I appreciate you creating such a lovely story. 😍
ОтветитьMake a vid about musashi or thorfinn or guts bro
ОтветитьHey bro, mot sure whats going on with you. But you have so mych potential with this Channel. Ive bern tracking your progress for a while now. You gotta keep grinding bro. You can take this channel to the next level. Come back bro and make more content this year. Love your videos. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьYamaguchi is seriously one of my favorites because he’s so relatable. And one of the reasons why I wish had gotten into anime sooner.
In middle school, I tried out for cheerleading. I had loved the pompoms, loved the glitter, loved the smile of it, but more than all of that, I loved the hard work that went into keeping your arms straight, remembering the cheers, and keeping the crowd engaged and entertained. I loved, and still do love that about cheerleading.
But i lacked motivation to keep that. I almost failed out of middle school trying to prove I belonged in a squad where I didn’t have the same motivation, didn’t have the drive, and honestly, just didn’t have the energy or strength for stunts. I finished out my middle school years feeling lost, because i genuinely was wondering why i had even done cheer in the first place, and felt honestly, super lost. Because the whole point of cheer is being loud, being flashy and bright. I’m an introvert, that seems impossible for me.
Lucky me, I’ve found dance, where I do feel motivated, and I do have the energy, and on top of that, I don’t feel like I’m just “there” And I really admire Yams because when i was in the same position as him, being on a team where everyone had their special something, everyone was at least good enough that they could stand proudly in the front and be louder, prouder, more confident, I couldn’t keep up, and just stood there, struggling through it all, with a smile, and had no desire to ever cheer again. Yams turned that feeling into something good, I just internalized it, and did nothing to improve it.
I learned a lot from my experience on that team, and still have so much respect for cheerleaders, because it’s not easy lifting up people’s spirits, and physical bodies. But i hope in my new team sport, I can put so much more effort in, and remember that I can improve, if i don’t just give up.
P.S. yes, I’m aware that volleyball and cheer aren’t all that similar.
Man no new videos😭
ОтветитьYamaguchi is one of the most relatable character to me as a person who play sports, especially as a reserve player of a team sport; sometimes you yearned for the moment to shine and when you finally stepped on field just to make mistakes, that moment was painfully relatable, until you swallowed and digested all those insecuities to simply let yourself play. Watching Yamauchi finally shines for the third time he was on the field made me tear so bad because it gave me hope to be a formidable player
Ответитьi love yamaguchi for his humble and normal ❤
ОтветитьWhen the heck are you gonna upload next man. We have been waiting for you
ОтветитьSeeing this makes me want a video on Hisashi Kinoshita. He felt he didnt match up with any of his teammates due to his lack of a "Big" moment. And then when he calls a play for Noya and it gets them the point.
ОтветитьI love your video essays! You gotta do some more storm light videos man!
ОтветитьThis video is just amazing.
I loved Yamaguchi’s journey and I loved this videos
Just Perfect ❤

ОтветитьWHERES MY CONTENT :(
ОтветитьBeautiful ❤️
Ответитьmake a video on ushiwaka
Ответитьim hoping to see many new epizodes on your channel. especially about Tendou
ОтветитьTadashi had a great story. And going from having no confidence to becoming a master of the float serve, and eventually CAPTAIN in his 3rd year, he had one heck of a journey.
Ответитьgud video bro 👍
ОтветитьId love to see a video about Kiryuu Wakatsu, I believe his character has a lot that could be misinterpreted or overlooked since he's so talented and i haven't seen anything anywhere about him
Ответитьwelp... when i was young my mom told me... "you are your worst critic... so never let anyone make you feel worse about yourself than what you make you feel yourself"...
ОтветитьPlease!.. We want a new video about Haikyuu ! 🏐🏐🌚...
ОтветитьOh man, you made me tear up again ....
I remember him ividly, it is def one of my fav sports anime ..
Teacher: Yamaguchi?
Me: PRESENT!
I don't see how unworthy Yamaguchi is in the team. He is basically an emergency button in case the play is not on Karasuno's favor. But it takes months for that button to work on its purpose in turning the tide of the game.
one of my favourite characters in all manga and anime
Ответить"Here he comes! The pinch server who scored 5 consecutive points in their agaim against Seijoh!" , everytime Tadashi is called for a sub.
this still gives me chills.
The quality of this channels content is so good
ОтветитьDog I do not relate to this guy at all, the person that hit really close to home was definitely kageyama and how he holds his teammates to a high standard
ОтветитьYes yes yes to everything you said.
And good morning to you too, didn't plan to tear up first thing in the morning 😢😂
Love every aspect of the video, the analysis and the edit, even the motivational boost at the end.
Wow that's much needed.
Thank you 😊🎉
That Yamaguchi edit went so hard!!!
ОтветитьNote me bawling my eyes while watching this because he has the greatest character development in haikyuu im so proud of him😭
Ответитьive js joined the basketball team in my school and i can say that is yamagucchi is the character i feel my experience is most 'in-touch' with.
im currently rewatching haikyuu again as a student athlete, yamagucchi is byfar one of the characters i can relate to most. he's a player who was really nervous on court, just a sub player, basically he wasn't all that of a player. its the same thing for me, i get so nervous whenever i play. i suddenly forget everything i know, flunk up moves or plays, i couldnt steal the ball and even the feel of the ball made me nervous. im also just a substitute player usually since im not as skilled as other players on the team are. i sometimes even wonder why i was even on this team. i refuse to even talk to other people on my team unless they spoke to me first because i thought i wasn't as good as them, i was worthless compared to them. i saw myself as just threading water that never improved or changed.
eventually yamagucchi became the captain of the team in his 3rd year, was a regular on the line ups. he was able to bring himself through a path of success by believing in himself. in a similar manner this summer, i was able to grow as well and improve myself. my shooting got better, i was more confident in playing, i was able to find my place on the court somehow. it isn't much or is extravagant, but my team captain noticed how my shooting improved and my other teammates' parents praised me for how much i improved. though like yamagucchi, i still feel nervous so i end up flunking up like i used to. its much better than my previous plays when i initially joined the team, but i still think i could've done more. was all that training for nothing? all that practice for this kind of a play? in the end, i remembered that many of my past failures are one of the things that got me at this point of 'improvement' in playing; that i should take these mistakes should make me feel the burning desire to see myself at my best, to show my best, and most importantly to show that i deserved a place on the court.
Tadashi is one of my favorite characters in the show, mostly because of how he is portrayed. Being the only first year to not be a regular on the team could've caused some people to throw a tantrum or quit. Instead, Yamaguchi uses this as an opportunity to learn something so he can help the team anyway he can. He approaches Shimada (might not be his name, Sorry) and asks him for help, not even knowing if he'll ever be able to do a float serve, and yet, he keeps trying. That moment in season 1 where he gets the chance to finally step on the court was almost enough to make me cry, and when it fails you feel his anger and the emotion. And you want him to be able to do it. Even after this, he still doesn't give up. He still supports the team and still does extra practice with the other team members.
Some people would have just left the team after not being picked as a regular, but I think Yamaguchi choosing to stay and learning to be ok with not being able to help in every match really shows just how much of a nice person he is. He's there to cheer the others on, and there to support them. He is one of the sweetest characters I think we meet in the show, and I will never not be proud of this boy for what he achieves and his journey to their third year. One of the best characters to come out of this show, no doubt. <3
My yamaguchiiii
ОтветитьI hate english version narrations in anime, but damn! This edit and explanation is insane I got goosebumps 🎉
Ответитьbro dropped the hardest Yamaguchi edit and thought we wouldn't notice
ОтветитьI cried several times throughout the video. Thank you for such a beautiful depiction. You did justice to our Yams
Ответитьdo a video on nishinoya. he inspired me to look into volleyball and realise i can still play good despite being short if i just play libero.
Ответить
