Taran Butler Glock 19X First Impressions

Anyone know what type of earbuds Taran was wearing in this video?

I don't want to say that I was on the same level of awesomeness with this man. However, when I first saw the sale sheets before they were released, I said the exact same thing. 17 length barrel, 19 sized frame. MUCH more desirable for me. I DO realize, though, that it's meant to be a combat weapon, and not a more concealable weapon. I get it. Thanks for another video, Taran. Cannot tell you how much I appreciate all your videos, and the tips I take away from you and your shooters.

I would have preferred the longer 17 slide on the shorter 19 frame.

Most people are missing the point about the 19X. It was not geared for the civilian market, ie conceal carry. It was developed for a military contract only, not towards civilian carry. If you want to CC then buy a 19 or a 17. The 19X is a military/duty pistol. Dont like it, then dont buy it. You have other options.

I hear and see a lot of folks bashing the 19x for the full size frame and shorter slide, but for the better part of the last decade one of the top carry pistols in the country was thought to be the Colt Commander, no? Isn’t the commander the full size frame with the shortened slide? Mine is and I love it!

I think Taran is one of my favorite shooters! I like how he shoots from the hip alot and always hits! Badass dude, you are living the dream!

Look at Paul Harrella +p and +p+ most of them didn't produce any more velocity then standard ammo.

I’ve seen a million reviews of this gun. And I had no idea the lanyard loop came out. That’s really what’s prevented me from buying the 19x. Lol.

Lanyard loops are still prevalent in the military, which is what the gun was made for.

The reason the didn’t make a long slide with a short grip is because it was made for open carry in the military and not for concealed carry.
