I used to play the trumpet. There are so many different music to be played from classic to jazz music. Unfortunately I am not musical enough to hear the notes. From a “mechanical “ angle I still get the notes out. Music theory and ability to play music by ear makes one a musician. French horn would be a fabulous marriage between the cello and trumpet.
