Really enjoying all your videos exploring older MMOs! I'm amazed at how much time and effort you put into creating all these, at the same time as keeping them light, funny, and informative. You make it look easy to collect all the footage and edit it all together, when it's definitely not! Also I LOVE the windmill song at the end of your videos, when my brother and I played Zelda Windwaker as a child we'd hum along to that 😊 such nostalgia. That and the witches song are brilliant 👍

I only discovered this game more than a decade after its launch. And so much of what you said was true of my introduction as well.
They made the environments feel full and worth exploring, and neatly tied your narrative into the overarching LotR story

I too liked the old style pace, but still found it leveled too quickly. If only games had a way to slow down leveling, i am in no hurry for end game

I’ll never forget making a medieval arrangement of Enter Sandman, playing it with my friends and a couple of other players stopping to listen.

The entire Shire area in LOTRO is so beautiful and relaxing to just soak in the atmosphere of. It's one of my favorite 'zones'/regions in any MMORPG I've ever played. I absolutely love just wandering around, soaking up the ambience of the area.

This is the only MMORPG I could ever get into. I remember being fascinated by the world and how much there is to explore. I frequently went to high level areas as a nooby just to see how far I could explore before getting killed by mobs, the map is huge! The playerbase is friendly and the world really feels like LOTR.
I never made it to the level cap, and I probably never will, but I always keep the game installed just in case I want to revisit some of the most nostalgic digital areas I've ever been.

Horses are actually really easy to get by doing deeds. You can earn lotro points that way. The riding grate only costs 90, you can get it in pretty short time.
