The forced insertion of non-binary characters and pronouns onto individuals in modern SCP articles is getting so, so old. Jarring and immersion breaking. Using they as an individual pronoun only works in very specific circumstances, cannot be used to replace he or she in every context, and the fact that it keeps getting pushed just shows that the author cares more about pushing their stupid message then telling stories or following the rules of the language that they are writing in

Man, that was worth staying up 'til 5am for. What an absolutely brilliant story, kudos to the writers. Definitely hope to see more of Dr. Galanis in future parts of this timeline, love that they got G-man'd at the end instead of ending up amnesticised lol. The three pronged army reveal was insanely cheesy but man, by the time it all came together, it felt totally earned. Loved it.

Lemuria is actually called Mu. Mu and Atlantis were adversaries. Atlantis was the bad guys, but since their descendants rule the world today they flipped the narrative. Their weapons or nature destroyed the civilised world and Mu evacuated the flood far into present day China. Atlanteans evacuated to Egypt and Americas where they used their tech to oppress people in the post apocalyptic world. Those Mu refugees are the Turks, we suddenly show up out of nowhere with language writing and metallurgy, and weird legends.. They are ruling the world, being very evil, they even dream of repeating the surviving apocalypse trick of theirs to finally do Egypt on the entire post apoc world next time.. That has to be stopped. Thats why so many monuments try to tell how advanced they were to hint of a cyclical catastrophe, to give us a heads up, they really were good guys, that global civilisation that built the monuments..

I honestly think Galanis is just objectively wrong at the end.

This would make an extremely good TV series or possibly an epic 3-4 hr movie.
The astral plane doesn't make sense to me tho. It's apparently a parallel dimension but it's difficult to grasp. It seems no different than normal reality except for time being skewed. Time is dependent on gravity so gravity has to be different on the astral plane which explains why the deavites are so much bigger and stronger than humans.

Some notes: Deva here is the Sanskrit term, meaning that they are the “Good” spirits. It is cognate with Deva in Persian, and Deity in English. Maharaja means “Great King” and Chakravarti means “Wheel Turning Kings” (Singular would be Chakravartim)
"Rajmata" can roughly translate to "Rular Mother"

Gotta say I love the non-binary character. Especially since their gender representation fits so well into the story. They’re not treated as a man or a woman, but as an honest to god third gender!

I really hope you cover the remaining parts of this when it comes out. Rounderhouse has made an incredibly compelling cannon and the way you tell the story is excellent. Where else do we have the scarlet king working with the foundation while the church of the broken God are the enemies.

I was thinking that this 5 hour audiobook could be boring, and thats why i have been only listening to the older 20-40 minutes ones about various scp's. Boy was i wrong, the narrating, and the images, and the subtle noise make an atmosphere thats almost dream like. Its truly a narration. On comments of the exploring series i had seen talk about Volgun, and then i went and checked out their channel. I didnt really like it, as its not a narration, it doesnt have the cadence, the personality, the "que se yo" the "je ne sais quoi" but god damn the exploring series has it. Thanks for uploading scp's for so long, the quality is unmatched!. I will continue to watch and listen to this its amazing!!

I really dislike this scp since it turn the deavite story to simple. removing all their connection to SCP1000, their unique Matriachy and the fact that they seemed like a historical society. Now they are just generic bad guys who are puppets to the Big Bad. /NotMyCannon
