I might be alone with this, but I don’t want a Control 2. Well I’d like for remedy to make a game like it, but to separate it from the original storywise. As it’s stands now after the two DLCs the story is nicely tied up. Any further diving into the mystery of it all might ruin the beauty of it by being understandable, but just vague enough to leave room for your own interpretation and fantasy
ОтветитьNot sure but FBC already existed before the 1950's. The oldest house discovery and everything that follows after that is from 1950's +.
ОтветитьIt's not real, Jesse is Alan's protagonist In a new novel his is writing after inserting himself into departure didnt free him. Alan is still in the dark place, and Quantum Break and control are just works of Alan wake.
ОтветитьNorthmoore is alive. He’s trapped inside the NSC power plant. It powers the oldest house. Northmoore Sarcophagus Containment
ОтветитьWhat are the other signs on the doors in the motel? Different dimensions?
ОтветитьWhy can’t the hiss go outside of the building? What’s stopping them? The lockdown? Hedron? How could the lockdown work since Jesse got in?
Also why are the hiss still in the building after Jesse closes the portal? (Probably so we can still fight hiss in the game) Also where is the projector and what happens if it’s turned on again after Jesse clears out all the hiss? Will they come back?
why is the janitor immune to the hiss? he ain’t even wearing a HRA
ОтветитьDoes anyone know why the hell the hiss was making people say that weird stuff? What the heck was the meaning of it all? And why is it so random like I heard “orange peel” 😂
ОтветитьNow that Polaris is apart of Jesse What happens to Polaris if Jesse dies? Will Polaris move to someone else?
ОтветитьThis game reminds me of oxenfree the way they were was resonating frequencies waves from the Past or creature or people stuckIn an alternate dimension. Also the way in oxenfree it affected people, reminds me of the hiss
Ответитьddlc vibes with the fake roll credits
ОтветитьI didnt get much from the story. I prefer not to read through small collectibles throughout the game.. and rather get it all through direct game play. That's probably why. Anyway, the game was a blast. Shooting through the maze was funtastic.
ОтветитьYoung lady perseveres and gets top job!
ОтветитьNorthmoor wasnt assassinated, although Trench did aid in convincing him to step down thus Trench being next in line to be Director. Northmoor himself manifested supernatural powers of his own in the form if heat. After a period of time his powers grew but it seemed Northmoor was unable to “control” or at the very least keep them at bay. Trench convinced Northmoor to step down before things began to escalate and came up with the idea of the NSC, “Northmoor Sarcophagus Container” which basically would keep Northmoor in the huge tank at a comfortable temp while also using the energy from his powers to basically run power throughout the Old House or ‘FBC Headquarters’. Thats why when you encounter Arish’s character in the Maintenance sector he says Trench’s rules for the NSC was to keep it an exact temp and NEVER open it or look into it. Most of the FBC staff didnt know Northmoor’s true fate & seems they wanted to keep it that way.
ОтветитьDylan already had a dream where Jessie was doing the menial tasks that she found herself doing as a low level employee. This was borne out of Dylan's loathing of Jessie, who he blames (wrongly) for not trying to come to save him or find him. The Hiss took these thoughts and created an altered reality for Jessie, but she was ultimately able to break free with some help from the supernatural entity Artsie who lives as a janitor as a role to play in our world, but is actually beyond all of these - and also from Casper Darling who was able to somehow know what was happening and had enough influence to talk to Jessie which results her breaking free into the Oceanview Motel.
ОтветитьThis game was not a masterpiece. It was an interesting experience and thats about it. The amount of filler content, repetitive shit to do and buggy gameplay made me regret playing it.
I loved it at first, got a bit bored in the middle and hated it in the end.
I played through the whole game and I loved the visuals but idk man.I felt as if the game was very very boring. I would literally play it to fall asleep 😅
ОтветитьNorthmore isn't dead. His lust for power manifested in his ascension into a being of infinite energy. He is imprisoned and chained up inside the NSC (Northmore Secure Containment) and is used as an unwilling power source for all the electricity in the Oldest House.
ОтветитьI think you missed out on northmoors story, seeing as how northmoor isn't dead. A large part of the game revolves around the area where northmoors sarcophagus (NSC-02) is. he is currently in charge of "keeping the lights on" using his inherit paranatural powers. IE being a human battery. Also Trench didn't kill himself, he failed an employee review, 2 happen to Jessie in the game, one when she first picks up the service weapon, and again when Polaris wakes up within her.
ОтветитьAhti definitely has a key role in The Oldest House. Remember how he travels to another dimension right before everything goes to shit and you never hear from him again? You can see him in a painting after he arrives to his destination which is a house by a lake I guess. He clearly knows more than anyone else in the FBC or he might be a totally different being.
Control was the first game that I completed 100%
Wtf. Great game but overly complicated. I would have never been able to understand the story.
ОтветитьFinally after 😔~3years after this videos was released CONROL 2 is announceddddddd!
Ответитьjust finished it today. it was full of "wtf is happening" and a nightmare fuel for me. but it was a good experience 10/10
ОтветитьNorthmoor didn't die. He became the core of the NSC power reactor.
ОтветитьNow the lord of the rings makes sense to me.
ОтветитьNorthmore isn't dead, hes literally the power source, aka the reactor of the building. his power started becomming unstable, so they agreed to lock him up. its why if you got to the reactor area and look on the screens you'll see the thermal signature of someone on the screens, hence why you need to bring the coolant back on line because if not he'll literally blow the place up.
ОтветитьThis was a really great game to play on ps5 super fun and interesting
ОтветитьDid you do a video on the two expansions?
ОтветитьGreat game, nice story but very story telling. After a while I started skipping reading everything I found and didn't re-listen any audio.
ОтветитьWhat the hell?! This is NOT the game I played. Where was all this information? Remedy needs to hire this MF right now to help right a DLC explaining this 4 year old game. Damn!
ОтветитьI’m 99% sure the reason Trench killed himself wasn’t bc of guilt, but bc that’s how the cycle of the Board choosing a director works. It’s implied by the Board that Jesse will be director only as long as she’s needed. So it can be assumed that when a new director is to be chosen the current director kills them self, most likely unwillingly by through the service weapon. This also explains the mysterious death of northmoor.
I really hope in the next game remedy expands on the board as they were definitely one of the most interesting and unique parts of the game that is never really to much explained other than the little we got in the foundation dlc
What’s the music behind this video? It’s so good
ОтветитьThe FBC is basically the FBI-UIU from the SCP Wiki
ОтветитьFor me this was probably the best game ever. Better than half-life.
ОтветитьI know this is old, but I just finished this game. It’s crazy how good it is and all the hidden gems. 🎉
ОтветитьI love this game. I still have no idea what's going on but the vibe is perfect.
Ответитьthat fake credit roll, first i through it i was like, is that it ? just finished like that ? turning jesse to a mad girl ? well that unfortunate.
until the text start to become strange, i was like, the fck happened ? holyshit its not end yet!!
It's both a sad and powerful story.. the whole game is demonic but intriguing in someway. Control is interesting
ОтветитьFun Fact! Northmoor isn't dead, he's evidently The generator powering the whole building due to emitting so much heat from his excess Parautilitarian power
Edit: Prime Candidate 5 is actually shown to be someone Remedy fans know of, being that they kept an eye out for Alan Wake should he have reappeared.
Great video. And a great backing track! It has a real 'This will destroy you' vibe to it
ОтветитьWhat an amazing mindfuck of a game and great job with the video.
Ответитьthank fuck this piece of shit was free on epic games
i would never pay for this crap
this is the worst design in game dirtection
there is no way of knowing where the fuck to go in this s hit building you stuck in
allways run back and forth no idea where to go
every fuckin god damn door is locked
fuck this shit
evcen the map is multi layers layed on top of each other so no idea which floor you on
It's kinda weird that they wait til the end of the game to finally give you abilities and mods, when they're no longer useful for progressing. Definitely could've been stronger sooner for certain battles like Salvador and Former. Instead of having to put assist mode on. Only complaint, otherwise great game.
ОтветитьPersonally, I think Sam Lake is up there with Kojima as a writer.
ОтветитьThank you. Didnt want to read all those collectibles lol
ОтветитьCONTROL 2 ANNOUNCED
ОтветитьThis is one trippy game
ОтветитьRemedy Entertainment are probably the only ones who could make a House of Leaves video game
ОтветитьThe Northmoor thing is blatantly incorrect. They explicitly say in the game that he is still alive, and you can explore the building and collectibles to find out what happened to him (and see what NSC stands for).
Ответить
