ОтветитьReally enjoyable series. I love a Triumph Spitfire first sports car I was taken out in as a school boy.
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful colour🙂 well done Mate
ОтветитьStunning car you did an amazing job loved the video
ОтветитьLooking nice now,put a plastic membrane on the door before you fit the panel so the hardboard doesn't get wet!
ОтветитьExcellent work mate the spitti looks stunning in that green and the hood colour was a good choice too it was worth all the effort and is a real credit to all your hard work 😊

ОтветитьLovely looking car, pat yourself on the back. 👍
ОтветитьGo on do the engine bay😊
ОтветитьHi mate what's the colour code and name of paint I really like the colour 😊
ОтветитьThis car is totally gorgeous. I love the colour and the new roof is perfect. You do nice work Ben. Great video.
ОтветитьGreat watch and great job 👏🏼
ОтветитьAmazing job - looks stunning! You definitely need to do the engine bay and interior now though ☺️
ОтветитьSafety squint, 😂😂
ОтветитьLooking SOOOO good! That colour is amazing! Those spare trims bits, the curved ones go bind the seat around the arch but you have to curve them to fit them, if I remember correctly.
ОтветитьStunning think you need to keep this one
ОтветитьThe colour really suits the car Ben.
ОтветитьBrilliant finish on the spitfire Ben great content as usual 👍
ОтветитьNew to your channel Ben and the content and the format is superb! Just freed up some space for more by dumping some ‘Nuts’ that just don’t compare 😂. Nice one mate 👍
ОтветитьWicked series car looks amazing mate nice one
Ответитьlooks AMAZING! Brilliant job Ben
ОтветитьGreat build now the engine and boot need a full detail to do the car justice.... Excellent Job Ben...
ОтветитьI love it!!! What a colour.
ОтветитьGreat colour scheme
ОтветитьVery nice job on the Spitfire, that colour scheme is the dogs & in my view the car needs a nice engine bay refresh. Keep up the good work on the classics😎👍🏻
ОтветитьSpent a day or two catching up on this series, what a remarkable tranformation on this jumble of a project. Love the colour, love the roof, doubt a single one left the factory looking as good as this absolute stunner. Hats off to you Ben!
ОтветитьHey, that might be the reason Casper is so friendly....just sayin
ОтветитьWow you've done a fantastic job and wow that paint job is modern but suits the car, I think it's your best job yet and give yourself a pat on the back
ОтветитьLoved this series! Love the Spitfire! The colour is amazing and the result is fantastic!
ОтветитьI've been looking forward to this since you bought it, it's one of my fave cars. It looks amazing and you couldn't have chosen a better colour. I painted a bike a similar shade of green and had nightmare with paint reacting etc. Apparently some people think green cars are unlucky and won't buy them. I always assumed they're certifiable witch burners but maybe there is something in it??
ОтветитьLooks amazing Ben ❤
ОтветитьLove the restoration. Have to say I would have gone for Triumph original solid colours, say blue, greem or red. But hey it's your motor and your choice is what counts. Well done.
ОтветитьMore mini series please!!
ОтветитьRestoring a car that built shite in the first place will always be a struggle but you’re doing a good job.
Personally I wouldn’t bother as these are slow as but the fact I’m watching means you’re doing spot on 😂
Looks fantastic. You did a great job well done
ОтветитьThe Spitfire looks fantastic!
ОтветитьIt is a beautiful colour, personally I wouldn't have put it on that car but there is no arguing you've done a magnificent job with the car and I've thoroughly enjoyed the journey.
Working my way through your channel and enjoying it. Keep it up. :)
Man, that's nice! 😃👍👍👍
ОтветитьPLEASE TURN DOWN THE VOLUME OF YOUR INTRO MUSIC IT REALLY IS PAINFUL.
The paint is the Dogs Bollocks
You got the door cards, what about the DOOR PANELS,
Thanks, The Best of The Best & Car Channel !
Hello From Finland !
I love the colour. It looks like it is from the MG Rover RV8 stable.
ОтветитьVery good. Superb in fact. I nearly bought a Spitfire as my first car, when I was in my twenties in the early 90s. I just did not have the facilities to do the work needed on a restoration. In the end I owned a Mk1 Mx5 instead for over twenty years and that needed little work at all. YOU HAVE TO DO THE ENGINE!!!! Please!!! Its crying out for it! Clean it, paint the rocker cover, tidy up the leads etc and rust proof and paint all the surround black etc....Otherwise its going to look unfinished. Plus if you sell the car it will mean you can ask more for it....Lastly if it was me I would be putting a stainless steel exhaust on it, at the very least the back box and tail pipe, just to finish it off with the nice wheels....The car looks great now, a true classic....
ОтветитьThe clear goes dull because of no air flow while it’s drying, crack the door and have a fan running pulling the fumes out.
ОтветитьI smear spot putty over the runs and let it dry then use a block to sand it. That way the runs get sanded and spot putty without sanding through
ОтветитьOutstanding Ben, I SALUTE YOU.
ОтветитьI'm always keen to keep my classic car standard, but I have to say the Spitfire looks a little gem. It's a gorgeous colour which suits it well with the new soft top. Loved this series.
ОтветитьLooks absolutely mint. Love watching your videos. They make my day. Thank you.
ОтветитьLovely job and Sue and I love the color❤
ОтветитьNiiiccccccccce ! 🤣👍
