ОтветитьI never believed the story that the fiber in fruits prevents the negative effects of the fructose glucose mix in modern breeds of fruits. only wild small berries, not more than a handful every day. Or 1 half green banana immediately before workout.

ОтветитьI wish I came across this video before! I was diagnosed with slight fat on my liver. So I stopped eating sugar - any form of it but continued to eat lots of fruits. 9 months later where I thought I will be healed - the ultrasound from few days ago showed that it went slightly worse and I started to have symptoms - pain, nausea, etc. so as of 2 days ago - I eat no fruits! Any! I really wish I knew this 9 months ago! Praying for healing to my precious body God gave me. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Contrary to the popular belief - that eating fruits can lower NAFLD, this proves that you need a bit of everything from fruits, vegetables, carbs and even good fat in to reverse NAFLD. The key is limiting your food intake and giving long times to digest it by the liver.
ОтветитьI am finally believing this. I have NAFL. I don't usually eat fruits. I was on keto for almost a month but sweet fruits like kiwi, apples, oranges, coconuts got me off the rail. Now my liver pain is back again and am feeling weak.

ОтветитьMention the fact that these diets include eating meat and grains even with the fruit. That is clearly the issue here. Adults don't just eat fruits alone, if they did the results would be different.

ОтветитьThe two studies quoted are correlation. Not causality. Not biochemistry or physiology. Not strong proof to link fructose to fatty liver.
ОтветитьOk can I assume that between these two groups all they ate was fruit? because if they were eating other foods the study is suspect. All you need to do as look at few fruitarians who are in amazing shape and condition. A lot of them are long distance marathon runners like 100 miles + moving on Next!

ОтветитьHi I'm really looking for some advice. I hope this gets to you. I'm from Ireland so no carnivore doctors here. OK I have fibromyalgia one of the main reason for starting carnivore. I keep slipping on and off it. But feel great when on it. My doctors are going crazy about my cholesterol

ОтветитьOn a fruitarian diet (3+ years), my insulin stayed around a 6, my BMI did not increase, HbA1c was optimal, no weight gain, and many others would report the same. So there's likely some flaw in this study (were the participants eating fresh fruit vs canned fruit, dole cups, dried fruit, ice cream snacks with fruit on it etc?)
Not to say that excess fruit can't cause fatty liver, but something in this study is off if all these biomarkers increased from 4 servings of fruit a day)
Not to mention the dozens of other studies that show fruit reverses fatty liver
I have a hard time buying the idea that a high fat and high protein diet is better for the liver than fruits and vegetables. Animals eat fruit all day long and I have never seen a monkey with obesity. Same goes for birds. I don’t think our bodies are designed to eat a lot of meat, actually, gout disease is directly related to meat ingestion. Highly processed foods and all this artificial food, genetically modified, and lack of physical activity probably the main issue to be solved.

also, why could we not test for 2 servings or 3 servings ?? maybe there is a right balance between no fruits and overeatings fruits...
Fruit is not a big problem, it is the processed crap that is the big problem, I think we nit picking here an trying to be perfect

ОтветитьI think it depends on which fruits are you eating too....I think you can eat fruit if you exercise enough to burn fat. And if you consume low glycemic indexed fruits....

The study was made in the Middle East.
They eat lots of sweet dried fruits like dates, figs, and raisins. You don't know what kind of fruits were tested.
Based on this single study don't say "Fruit Makes FATTY LIVER Worse! "
Unless you need more attention. I would never trust you as a doctor.

ОтветитьThe key point at the beginning - if you eat TOO MUCH fruit. If I am a healthy, young, active person, is 70 grams of fruit per day too much or acceptable? How much is too much?
