ОтветитьWhat's the name of the outro music?
Ответитьso these guys just fixed something you didn't think needed fixing, but having looked at the real vs vox, now the issues are as plain as day. vox just decided to use common sense in this case.
Ответитьwhat is the music from video????
ОтветитьThis was amazing
ОтветитьA lot of prescriptions are filled at a third party location. And, a lot of pharmacies use them. So for Target to have their own branded bottle, you are talking about that bottle being available at the fulfillment centers...all of them. Now we've introduced a different bottle into the mix of all the yellow bottles that everyone else uses. That's going to take up extra space. And what will happen should the fulfillment center run out of Target's branded bottles? Do they use the yellow ones? Do they risk confusing the Target customers? It looks like there's a different label(s) too. So, now you have to add all that into the mix (also different printers for said labels). It's not a cost-effective operation to use these different pieces. It was easier when ALL prescriptions were filled at a Target pharmacy but CVS is one of those pharmacies that use a third party fulfillment center.
ОтветитьImagine you are Pat Buchanan 😂😭
ОтветитьSo many bad stakeholders destroy good graphic design as they overrule the designers to claim their position as decision makers. Over exposing the brand logo for instance, that's a classic 😖
ОтветитьThis wasn't even a typography problem though, they got the wrong envelope.
ОтветитьOr they could've just type everything out exactly like the script.
Presenter just need to read everything on the card.
"The award of Best Picture goes to Moonlight, etc etc".
...that...still doesn't explain why LaLa Land would have appeared on the card in the first place.
ОтветитьAl Gore being elected might have also effected the current state of climate change cause that was his big thing. It’s easy to think about the slow action under Biden and Obama but also worth noting that climate has become more polarized in pushed the side as time has gone on.
Ответитьthe fact this video was made 6 years ago and still nothing has happened
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure these flaws are deliberate. When you want to manipulate the masses, difficult typography is the best place to start.
ОтветитьPeople try to be different. To put their mark on things. Which is not usually ideal in moments like this when being able to glean information quickly matters most.
I can't tell you how many times I see business signs or adverts that have tiny text, fancy fonts that are unreadable, or concentrate on a selling gimmick without plainly conveying what they're selling. And trying to figure all of this out as I'm driving down the road? Don't companies want business?
It's interesting how packaging varies. In Germany, prescription drugs are easy to handle. You'll just get a little box with the design the companies choose. There has to be a certain area where informations like the name and company are in braille so blind people can read them too. This way, it's harder to mix them up.
ОтветитьThe depressing thing is, some design agency got paid an absurd amount of money to create a bog-standard card not even taking into consideration these very basic and obvious rules of design.
ОтветитьLet's see Paul Allen's card
ОтветитьSame thing with industrial design, just a quick example…pushing the door to open it when you need to pull the door, is just bad design.
ОтветитьI'd argue that the poorly designed ballot paper in Florida was intentional, to confuse Al Gore voters and make it possible for them to vote for the completely wrong candidate.
ОтветитьAll they have to do is switch Oscars and Best Picture placement, done lol.
ОтветитьImagine being so useless that you can’t read or understand a simple card
ОтветитьYOU.HAD.ONE.JOB
Ответить1st world problems, 1st world problems
ОтветитьAfter this incident, you will notice that, in every next oscar event, the academy wrotes the individual category name in huge capital letters on the envelope....😅😂
Ответитьi legit have no problem with the designs and i'm a designer. i do really like the newer medical botles
Ответитьhello usians, I have never in my 30+ year life seen an orange medicine bottle 🙂except in hollywood films
Ответитьits almost like pills are a scam
ОтветитьBasically make the most important information the first thing someone will read. There’s a meme that says something like “You read this first. You read this second. You read this third. You read this last.” in different font sizes and weights in different places on the picture, and it actually illustrates what about text catches people’s attention and in what order really well.
ОтветитьThat election ballot though...pretty freakin' simple. The arrow is directly pointing to the bubble from the candidate :P
ОтветитьStill floored by how "Moonlight" could have been understood as "La La Land". By two people.
Great vid nonetheless.
Imagine Al Gore to power
ОтветитьGood grief! Multimillion dollar organizations don’t know this?! This is terrible!!!!
ОтветитьThat ballot design is absolutely moronic. Could be living in a different world if the person who designed it died before they could.
Ответитьi love how they showcased her designs. it really emphasized how much thought and work she put into it
ОтветитьUgh
ОтветитьLiterally a video about user experience design that doesn’t mention user experience design 😅
ОтветитьFortunately, I live in Brazil, where we do not vote on paper.
ОтветитьWhat is confusing about the answer being right there?
Ответитьnada que ver la tipografía, solo un cambio de sobre. Por qué ella leyó algo que NO decía no de cerca
ОтветитьUx designers are going to steal this
ОтветитьI dont understand why americans need to put pills in pill bottles. In europe we just get them from a package which all the medicine comes from in the first place.
ОтветитьWho cares
ОтветитьI hate it when a font makes these characters identical:
l L i I | 1
honestly, i wouldnt be surprised if this has happened many more times, and this was just the first time they called them out on it.
ОтветитьI was reading the Thumbnail and I just read it as “And the best oscar for moonlight goes to Best Picture”
Ответить
