ОтветитьI could be mistaken, but I'm gonna guess that Chef Kimura's knives were much sharper and higher quality. Not that he couldn't have done it with the knives the contestants used, I'm sure he could have, but I bet they made it easier lol

Ответитьif your blade is catching and shredding the fish, it is not straight/sharp enough. I did not see one of them steel their knife at all. Did the camera not catch it or are they all forgetful.

Seeing Jen's knife cut through that fish pains me. She'll never be able to get a good cut with such a small knife. Even a lay person like me can see you need a proper knife with the right length and sharpness to cut through it cleanly in one motion. Did they even have any knives available to them to do this or did the contestants not pick the right knives for this particular test?
