Of all the games I’ve played in my life, Hyperlight Drifter ranks highly among my favorites. It doesn’t really feel like a game, but more like an experience that you’re allowed to interact with. It feels deeply personally, though inviting, and meditative yet actionable. I’ve completed the game I think 5 or 6 times over the past few years, but I always feel like starting the journey again, and each time I find a new way to approach it. Can’t praise it enough!

The story of hyperlight drifter transcends the game. To me hyperlight drifter is this mans story as well without the knowledge of his personal struggle you dont get half the story this is very special.

This is a really fucking good game. Me and my friend enjoyed it a lot. It's one of those games where you actually get attached to the character and you want to finish the game.

I got to meet a few people from the studio at PAX West 2016, such an nice people. Im a HUGE fan of this game and I had made a 3D head sculpt of the drifter to show them. their reactions meant the world to me.

I just watched this and i shed a tear. It is what got me to get the game, I wasn't born with a heart condition but developed one over time in past years. While not as heavy as him... I felt the sense of mortality with this video and how a passion to a ticking clock can grow to such an extent. I honestly feel for him and I am glad he is still going on.

This is one of the most beautiful games i’ve ever seen in the sense of the connection between the creator and his game and how he found a way to output his story into a medium.

Thank you so much Alx.. this game has been a giant inspiration to me. I also battle a deadly illness & this game spoke to me on such a spiritual level. The laughter flowed at times.. as well as the tears.. this game made me experience emotions I almost didn’t know existed. From the bottom of my heart.. THANK YOU FOR THIS.
