MaxTrianglesToRender default is 100000000

Im getting 100 fps, But my mouse feels like it has input delay ?

No matter what I do I get 17fps in the forest and every few seconds it drops to like 2 and freezes for a second. My laptop cost $2.7k and I just got it FOR ARK like 2 years ago so expecting people to spend more than that to play games anymore is insane to me

u can do r.volumetricfog 0 for better visuals underwater and also global illumination quality is bugged at medium and makes the game look worse and affect frames

Ahh yes I’m order to achieve a stable frame rate just turn all the “updated lighting and shadows to low” wtf is the point of the game if it was made to look good if you can’t even play it with high settings due to bad optimization

With my AMD 7900 xtx, Ryzen 7 5800x3d, 64gb of ballistix cl16 3200mhz ddr4 ram, all appropriately cooled. I get 20-30fps on Epic settings.
50-60fps on medium settings with none of the bloom, shafts, or foilage multipliers on. Then low with nothing on ill get upwards of 70-90fps without any changing of gaming files and default adrenalin settings for AMD. Definitely worth tweaking, but i want the game to look good. Wildcard needs to have FSR 2.1 or 3 soon. Kind of bullshit a AAA title in 2023 doesnt support both of the top of the line gpus

Playing a game that is only interesting for it's graphics...And lower all the settings in order to be able to play

For a while I was running around with 30-40 fps on default settings, thinking "yeah this is fine, I can deal with this."

Found this video, used all the same settings and now I'm running around 90-100 and everything looks so smooth. Night and day difference

It looks like a blurry mess and there's constant texture popping in 4 meter radius around you.

This game looks like smudgey poppy hot garbage unless you have something close to a 4090. Idk why anyone bothers to play it.

The best advice concerning this game is to not play it until they hire competent game engine engineers to fix their garbage. Game studio management always underestimate how difficult it is to make games look good on hardware people actually use, and when they overshoot like this, it ends up looking jarring with the reduced settings necessary to make it look playable.

Hey, im having problems with my keybinds not saving after i press save. Its only some of them like the last slot in the hotbar saves as "q" fine but then i put the 9 into a "v" but it doesnt save ?

Followed all recommended settings and I'm still getting 15 fps. I was getting 4, but 15 still is hardly playable. I have a 1660, 16gb/ram, and an i7 9700k. Any advice on what I'd need to upgrade or other things to change via Nvidia?
