I cannot tell you how many times people who I called ‘friends’ Started saying this kind of shit to me post October 7.

If I am going to live spending lots of years in Ireland or Scotland, definitely I am going to learn the language. It's very interesting , since I always take them as the Elvish language.

The funny thing is, I'd say there's a higher percentage of immigrants taking an interest in the language than Irish people from my experience! I know plenty of Nigerians and now Brazilians too who are learning it, but very few Irish people who can be bothered even looking at the dictionary after they finish school.
