Where can we plan a trip in Europe during December 1st week
ОтветитьWhat is the best time of the year is to visit there?
ОтветитьLove this video! Such great energy and enthusiasm, Mahna! I, too, love Italy. Have been there many times including Rome, Venice, and Florence. But the next adventure is the Amalfi coast. Thank you for your wonderful advice!
ОтветитьHeading to Naples and so enjoyed your informative and fun commentary on the Amalfi coast. 10 thumbs-up if I could. Grazie!
ОтветитьThank you Mahna....your enthusiasm is infectious!!!!! Do you recommend this trip for a day tour from Rome, or not enough time? From the tours I've seen they incorporate Pompeii which because of time, I would prefer not to do and my husband has already been. If your answer is 'yes', my friend who has just been said (and I note what you have already mentioned, re the steps) she didn't think I would be able to move around Positano easily -- she is 10 years younger and a little bit fitter than what I am at time of typing..your thoughts would be appreciated :-). We will be in Italy in October to November, I'd be curious to know if you do any other videos for Rome, Florence, Lake Como, Venice & Milano 3n 4din most of the places thanks in advance ....Fran 🙂
ОтветитьHow did u get fr Agerola to the city center since ur up in the hill? Were there bus taxi they go up there?
ОтветитьHi Mahna! Loved this video! We are going in 2 more weeks to Amalfi and I just can’t wait! 🇮🇹❤ The only question I have is in regards to the umbrella and chair rental at the beaches. We are planning to go to Marina Grande (Amalfi town) and Spiaggia Grande (Positano), should we rent umbrella and chairs in advance? Or is not necessary? I heard you can do it in advance but I don’t find a website to do it.
ОтветитьJust get a car to get there
ОтветитьBunch of lies. Completely overhyped place! Starts with problems getting to Positano from Naples. Only public transport options are via Sorrento. There is no direct bus or train service to Amalfi. Its almost impossible to travel on the buses/ trains with big bags and transiting through Sorrento. Which leaves you with option of very expensive taxi ( 150 Euros each way!)
Hotels are overpriced and provide poor value for money. We paid almost AUD 650 per night for IBIS or Mercure quality accomodation!
Place is very crowded. Roads are very narrow. There is hardly any place to walk on the street without being honked at by passing car. Food is way overpriced and quality of food is average. Beach is almost non existent with black sand. Cliff side buildings/houses have run down appearance and look depressing. Overall highly over-rated place. Don't be fooled by this kind of travel bloggers. Do your own research.
❤Perfeckt!❤
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьCan you give us a complete travel guide of how to get from Naples to Amalfi, which train did you take? What was the exit from the train station to Sorrento? What bus did you take to Sorrento and what stop did you take to get to Amalfi Coast? Do you have any links to purchase tickets
ОтветитьLove your videos. I'm having a hard time deciding between Almafi and Madeira . Which one is better?
ОтветитьHey
Would you recommend visiting Amalfi during the month of February?
We are 73 years old. We are active but I'm worried about all the steps. What area of Amalfi to you recommend for seniors? I would love to do a boat tour and possibly stay in a senior friendly area. Is the place you stayed easy to get to?
ОтветитьThanks for making a very practical video about the Amalfi Coast. I find too often that other travel guides are too “influencey” and not really relatable or even doable but I loved your approach. I was there about 5 years ago and agree with everything you said. It’s a splendid and magical place and I really, really want to go back.
ОтветитьGreat video. lovely personality! Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьThis video is so practically informative - thank you!
ОтветитьWow.. Wow.. This is the most informative video I've seen about the Amalfi Coast. First of all, the ways of access you gave from place to place, both by land and by sea, which I have not seen in any other video. Your video is amazing with the spectacular views, the delicious food of southern Italy and the easy packing of a suitcase.🏖⛱️🏝
This will be my second visit to southern Italy, although last time,
unfortunately i didn't get to all the beautiful places you mentioned, i was only in Napoli and Capri Thanks to you I will come again for a trip to the Amalfi coast this summer.
Lots and lots of love from Israel❤🇮🇱💟
Your travel tips always come in handy! Just a friendly suggestion, have you ever tried using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane? It's designed to keep you organized and efficient while traveling, and I think it aligns perfectly with your expertise in maximizing the travel experience.
ОтветитьYou’re so full of life! Love the energy ✨
Going to Amalfi in a week and I’m excited now.
Hi! I am looking to plan a holiday at amalfi coast as well, I'm not planning to rent a car so I'm wondering for hostels/Airbnb thats up on the mountain like the one you stayed in Amalfi, is it convenient to take the public transport to travel up and down the mountain everyday? or did you rent a motorcycle? thank you so much!
ОтветитьYou’re awesome!! thank you so much!
ОтветитьWe just got back and found it to be absolutely gorgeous! We stayed in beautiful Atrani. The only thing I would do differently is I would definitely rent a scooter. I feel like we did a lot of walking but didn't cover much ground. We did take buses to Positano and Ravello and other small villages. But every time a scooter whizzed by, I wished I had one!

ОтветитьHi! thank you so much for the helpful video! how did you get from the coast to your airbnb in Agerola?
ОтветитьWhat about from London to Amalfi by car ?
Any advice ?
One of the very good with so much energy 😅😅
ОтветитьI went there and loved it! Totally want to go back again! Absolutely beautiful 💙
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Will go there this summer. I can not find AirBnB in Agerola you refer to. You have any link as your link to Casa Radicosa seems to be another property.
ОтветитьHearing you talk about Italy makes me want to go there so much more! You genuinely seem so happy talking about the Amalfi Coast.
ОтветитьYour vidio is good but it would be better if you show the city and the view instead of your picture
ОтветитьIt's interesting that people say the people of Italy are nice. They were nothing but rude as fuck with us. Maybe it's because we are POC though and Italians at their core are still extremely racist people.
ОтветитьHey thanks for the tips. I am wondering how did you travel between your airbnb and the sita bus stops? Your stay is up high and the buses are in the center so I am wondering how you reached the busses to travel around and how did you go back to your stay at night without a bike/ car?
Ответитьare u Iranian?
ОтветитьWell, well, well.....no, no, ....it's not my tie, it's my tongue out, I'm just exhausted just viewing this........but just adored it. Sooo ,...as you make this so eaaasy, ......smoooth, and .....charm, I'll follow it to the "t" as soon as I can plan and book that trip. Really, I have seen others reviews about this paradisiac place, ....but you just excelled, ....the energy and confidence that you irradiates are stunning. I'm seeing your "shorts" and are just as spectacular themselves. Thanks God that I'm not a tad near you, ..'cause your instant and radiant energy will fry me like a fish, you are so enthusiastic and electrified, my Gosh!! 🤣🤣
ОтветитьThank you for all the information. I was not really sure if I should do 1 day trip from Naples but now you convinced me to definitely GO :-) Love your energy.... Take care!
ОтветитьIn my opinion some things are worth the hype. If you never been to a certain country. Or have never try a certain food. As always tourists ruins everything. Since we're individuals. We have different experiences of course. Life too short for any nonsense. So can't be a joy kill for others. Gotta take the opportunity once is presented. I would love to visit Italy someday. I am from NYC. For example if somebody ask me to give them a tour of NYC. I would but not ruin your own personal experience as a local. That is giving you happiness.
ОтветитьRavello stunning, Positano decent, Sorrento bland (aside from the lido by the sea u have to pay to swim in), Capri very irritating place. Bus connections between towns v regular + cheap
ОтветитьThe most useful Amalfi guide I have found - thank you!
ОтветитьGreat review. I will be in Italy for a cycling tour I'm participating in, then plan to spend the remaining week after in the Naples area. Your review helps with my plans.
ОтветитьI did a day trip along the AmalfiCoast starting from Salerno, stopping at Amalfi, Ravello and Positano before arriving at Sorrento in the late afternoon where I stayed for 3 nights (including a daytrip to Capri Islands)
ОтветитьThanks for the video..how did you travel to Amlfy from your stay there..google says it takes around 1 hour 30 mins..is it true?
ОтветитьVery good! I am a tour guide in the region and I agree with everything you said. I love your enthusiasm to tell and share information.
ОтветитьDid you have to make reservation at Ristorante Bruno?
ОтветитьDo you recommend buying a ferry ticket ahead of time if your going mid September ? Or do you just buy the ferry tickets when you arrive. Thank you!
ОтветитьYour smile and enthusiasm say everything, I'm glad you have good memories of your time in Italy, ciao. 🍺
ОтветитьSuper nice video. ❤
ОтветитьHi! Awesome video! Planning a trip soon. Don't want to be overpacked and hindered. Can you tell me exactly what size luggage to buy for this type of traveling? Thanks!
