I already have a VR multiplayer game set up and working, so i dont want to implement a whole new system, so its just about displaying the 1st person for me and the 3rd person for other players.

ОтветитьI use Unity 2021. 3 and when I add to scene AvatarSDKManagerHorizon it shows that all scripts " The associated script can not be loaded. Please fic compile errors and open Prefab Mode and assign valid script to the Prefab Assets".... What is it mean I should destroy every prefab and put any script???? Even if they all assigned in place.... I don't get it.

I have still an issue and couldn’t find out, what I can do.
When I start the app in Unity everything is fine. But when I start the build in the Oculus Quest 2 my meta avatar has completely white textures. Just in the build. I already tried to setup the light settings and tested a different project.
Can you/ anyone help? Is there a setting I have to change or could it be something else?

Other oculus users cannot load their avatar in my apps. they already have developer account and joined as admin in the app dashboard. There is an error something like this 'entitlement check failed. user doesn't have app in library', they are install the app from ODH. Anyone know what happen about this issue?

ОтветитьCan you make a tutorial on Oculus Interaction SDK locomotion? Either teleport or constant movement would be fine. My problem is that the sample locomotion scene doesn't work except for walking only.

I watched and implemented all the videos in the Interaction SDK series:
1- I failed to activate Hand 2.0. When I update to V39 or even V40 a lot of things break like object interactions and canvas interactions. So I'm going with the V38. Am I doing it right?
2- We will be very happy that you will start a multiplayer series where we can do all the interactions with the avatars.
3- By the way, your channel is the first channel I recommend to my friends who see me working with VR around me.
4- We are looking forward to your new videos.

Two quick questions...
1) Since the Oculus Intergration seems to be updating every few weeks, is there any chance you could you put the version in the description?
2) I'm really keen to use raycasting teleport with hand gestures. Could you consider making a tutorial on how to ray-cast teleport while using a "finger-gun" hand gesture? I'm having a hard time figuring out how to aim and trigger teleportation via hand pose recognition rather than via controllers. I think teleporting by pointing 👉 would be awesome!
