It was easy, That was 3 years ago and it's holding up great I'm ruff on my guns they are tool's of the trade and don't get pampered, But these wraps are tough,I just done a Ruger Blackhawk 454 last night tiger stripe pattern

Guys I have to do this to protect other future buyers of this product. Please please please DO NOT BUY this product.l unless you are attaching it to a all steel gun. I tried to attach this to my Beretta PX4, a Polymer Gun. I need to use a heat gun to install the product. Guess what happened? my brand new polymer Gun's frame, being a polymer plastic like Glock, was damaged by the heat of the heat gun.. The owners of this product did not forewarn us as buyers of this potential to damage our Gun... I strongly urged everyone to not use thisnin their polymer Guns..

So the piece that isn’t specifically made for a pistol doesn’t have enough material to cover all of the frame or underneath on the frame where the rail is at? Why would you want it to look half finished? I don’t understand.

I was contemplating on getting a skin for my step-dad as he recently bought a xd9 but I didn't know if it would work for his gun but low and behold here is a tutorial about applying a skin to the exact gun!! Will definitely try and surprise him with this as a thank you for being a great step-dad!

How does the skin affect holster retention or fit?

I was nervous doing mine but it turned out KILLER! Even if you screw up a bit it's pretty easy to fix and even piecing sections that didn't get covered you can't even really tell. Wish I could post a pic cuz I'm very pleased 😁

Just completed a Taurus 9mm. It was not as simple as this guy made it look. If I had it to do over. I would do all the little trim stuff first and then do the big stuff to help cover it up. I should have just hydro dipped it

Just wanted to thank you for a great product. Just completed a XD9 pistol. Could have done better, could have been easier, but for a first time bumbling through it, I love it. Will definitely be doing a few rifles.

the part i didn't like was the blade actually scoreing and scratching the firearm .not too good. im sure this can be done a little more gently as to not do any damage.

I found that washing my hands a couple of times in detergent before attempting to use the kit really helped. also I stuck the sheets down roughly where I wanted them then done all the trimming with the gun assembled by just running a knife around all the joins and applied lots of heat.

Found this to be a really easy kit to use just don't expect it to fit every model of pistol without any trimming which would be a bit unrealistic anyway.

used this for about a year now and still stuck firmly down but wouldn't recommend using an overly tight holster as this will eventually wear through the skin or cause it to peel up.

how does the skin hold up to drawing from kydex holsters. I would assume it would cause alot of excess wear to the skin.

This looks like a fun project! Why the hell not, right? So a regular cheap hairdryer will be enough? I've put 3M graphics on dirt bikes I've owned and a hairdryer was enough to form that super thick material.. The only problem is picking which design!!!!

I bought the Vietnam Tiger Stripe for my rifle and scope.  I LOVE it.  It looks badass.  I choose that for my sniper rifle cause I really like the old school look.  I got the Harvest Moon "Irregular shape" to do trim on my HiPoint 9mm rifle, glock 22, and binoculars.

I'm sorry, but this is not ideal. In fact, it looks like garbage. You're better off Hydro Dipping your piece. So much cleaner.
