Hi, was wondering about practising. I music we play the song all the way through even if you make a mistake, so you get good at the whole song.

I speed running I see people reset the moment something doesn't go right. So the end game gets less practice. Is this an issue, and how do people get good at the end game?

With most games speed runs I watch I feel I can emulate at least some of the skips but with this one I’d be proud if I could even do one skip never mind the insanity of chaining them all together like this.

How is this All Bosses, when you don't actually fight ALL of the bosses?

Yea yea Sekiro is pure garbage after 5h of gameplay... As it goes for Japan just go and play Nioh 1 and 2; all there is to it. Sekiro is made for Moist-Critical to press 2 buttons 20h and milk money out of it, pure pure PURE shitshow by Fromsoftware.

You may have addressed this in the video, I forget, but does the language the game is played in matter? I know in games like Pokemon, where the text types out letter by letter during dialogue boxes, the language matters because whichever language has the fewest number of characters in the game is going to be fastest. But unless I'm much mistaken, the text in Dark Souls always appears all at once, so it seems to me like the language played in wouldn't have much impact on the run.

I'm not familiar to DS1 speedruns at all, but god damn that Bed of Chaos kill in merely a couple of seconds and 2 firebombs made me feel avenged for all the time I spent running back to that boss after some BS knocked me out of the map, or the floor colapsed exactly under where I was running in the arena. It was incredible to watch, almost surrealistic, as was the rest of the run. All the respect to you sir, a true master of your craft.

Speaking of the steam deck, I own one, I've even been playing dark souls 1 and dark souls 3 on it, and it's awesome. It's great to run these pc games on the go in a handheld format.... the only trade off is the battery life, its not very good but that's to be expected, it runs Elden ring at 30fps for 2 hours. Although when I run dark souls 1 on deck, I get 1 to 2 hours at 60fps.....and capping to 30 cannot be done, because it slows down the game speed.

darksouls remastered on switch was my first time playing dardsouls and it was enjoyable I've now got the other 2, blood-born and now elden ring (ps4)

I starded to play Dark Souls recently. At first I was very frustrated with the game, but now I'm hooked haha

see with pyromancy its a little faster, because with the quantity usage, you can level up to 21 str to use the great club to kill quelaag, and speak to the egg to get a pyromancy flame. you can then level up your pyromancy flame to about level 15 with him and ascend it with quelana, as well as get great combustion and great fireball. the bellowing dragon crest ring and the dusk crown both work with pyromancies, then there's also power within, and with fire tempest from killing quealana, you can go hypermode with the rtsr, just make sure you have the sanctus shield from the leeroy invasion to be able to use rtsr as it slows the health loss. with hypermode, it is possible to one shot kalameet, use fire tempest as an opening to the artorias fight as 9/10 times he will do the uppercut slash, and many more. everything in the game is weak to fire and overall it makes the dlc run a lot faster. for other bosses that are strong to fire you have that great club. at least thats the way that i find a little faster. if you can explain why sorcery is faster i will give it a try. (quick note, not all bosses are suceptable to the fire tempest hypermode, such as manus. however, it makes bosses like artorias and kalameet, and notably priscilla since you have to attack her before the fight actually begins, signifficantly faster as A: you dont have to aim, and B: basically everything is weak to fire).

So I get jumping over the unstable wall but how do you jump without running off of that cage in Sen's Fortress to get to Big Hat Logan. I've tried several times myself with no luck.
