I think Nexon is doing good only because it has good GNCAP value.

If Venue get good GNCAP score then people will switch to Venue because of feel good factor and after sales service plus resale value.

So I think Tata need to focus more in refining engine and to provide good after sale service to maintain position.

Bought Nexon XMS Diesel variant and happy with the performance and drive capabilities. And in terms of handling and safety its damn confident, i was overspeeding around 120 kmph in NH, suddenly a parked bus trying to take U turn , and i applied all force to brakes and steered towards tail of the bus. And it was damn smooth & confident. Was able to stop the car in less distance and quickly, Thanks to Nexon 🥰👌
