It's not impossible to fix this without outright breaking him. If you've used a tank in an FPS game game before, you'll notice that the turret slowly tracks towards the center of your cursor (basically mouse smoothing). They can implement something similar in a way that still makes aiming during his CA still feel natural, but is hard capped enough which makes spinning out impossible. Or MHY could just leave this alone and let some of the fastest abyss speedrun videos of their game look like a stupid washing machine simulator.

If you look closely there is a circle on the ground when you use his charged attack. This is both the range of his laser and the range where he can pick up his balls.

I'm a PC player, I have a mouse with adjustable DPI, pulled C1R1 Neuvilette, and I really hope they fix this. Yes, it makes him stronger, but I really do not want his optimal gameplay method to be this nauseating. Xiao and Nahida's gameplay is on the very high end of camera movement I can tolerate without throwing up, this is awful.

Could anybody recommend a mouse with the needed dpi for this?

Trying to find out a way to do it without a gaming mouse using Ahk but not successful so far. If anyone found a solution then post it. :)

they could increase his charge attack stance by 0.3 seconds and increase the time that the charged attack needs to deal damage by 0.3 seconds, i think that would be ok

I don't think saying it singles out mobile/console players is a fair argument against the mechanic. As a mobile player, there are tons of characters who will just never work on phone nearly as well as they work on pc. Neuvi is the most busted example we have thus far but other characters who rely on turning around while charging their attacks are all extremely clunky on phone. Bow users as well as Nahida tend to be pretty difficult to use unless you have the kind of phone you can run NASA-level calculations on.

Tbh even for how absurb it sound, in fact the game is singleplayer, the multiplayer is something that is there for share a moment with friends or get some help making things easier, yet is q singleplayer for what really matters, if someone want to play the whole game spining fine for him, if someone wants to use in a normal way also fine.
Have saying this it not break the game for me, hope they dont patch ot to change so let the freedom to everone play as they want to since again is a single player game so this not affect others no need to change

As a console gamer, I see this as an absolute L

For those who struggling to controlled neuvillette on controller. Tip for you:
Tip #1. Play (Claw) it means that, one finger on the basic attack button and one finger on joy-stick to controlled the charge-atk.
Tip #2. If your not comfortable playing (Claw) or you just don't like it, then change you binds. Put your Normal-atk on R2, so u can hold charge-atk easily. Put your Elemental-Skill on Circle or Square.
Tip #3. The easiest option. Buy Scuf controller. What's scuf controller? A controller that has extra button on the back

i don't think this is very useful tbh. lining up the targets works well enough.
your example makes it seem better than it is, because the targets are all very weak mobs. But in floor 12 it won't make much sense to use even in a similarly structured chamber, because you're unable to get the good buffs going without properly gathering them first.

Wouldn't a slight, lower dpi vertical camera movement have the same (if not better) results with a way lower motion sickness? Basically moving up and down instead of left and right
